Richard Wilkins paid a moving tribute to late cricket legend Shane Warne on Monday, on the second anniversary of his death.
The veteran presenter, 69, shared a precious throwback photo to Instagram capturing him and Ed Sheeran, 33, posing up a storm with Warne on a night out.
The three men are all smiles in the heartwarming picture which captured Shane having the time of his life with two of his closest friends.
Wilkins captioned the snap with some sweet words.
‘Can’t believe it’s been two years since Shane left us,’ he began.
‘I don’t remember much about this night out, but I’m assured we had a great time… as we always did! What an incredible life and enduring gift. RIP Warnie.’

Meanwhile, Warne’s ex-wife Simone Callahan, 54, shared her own tribute to the sporting icon by posting an adorable photo to social media of him giving a thumbs up.
‘Forever in our hearts. We love you and miss you. 1969 – 2022,’ Simone wrote alongside the picture and added a love heart emoji.

Brooke, 26, Jackson, 24, and Summer, 22, all took to social media on Monday to remember their dad on Instagram.
Eldest sibling Brooke shared a number of heartwarming pictures of herself with the cricket great.
The 26-year-old captioned the touching post: ‘2 years today Dad. It’s been the slowest and quickest 2 years without you. Life really doesn’t make sense without you here. We try and do you proud every day. I miss you, I love you forever.’

Jackson re-shared a post uploaded by the Shane Warne Legacy Instagram account with a caption that read: ‘Today marks the second year since Shane left us, but the legacy he leaves lives on stronger than ever.’
Shane’s youngest child Summer also shared a selfie with her father, along with the caption: ‘2 years today since you left. Our lives go on without you but nothing is the same. I love you endlessly. Always and forever. SKW.’
The king of spin tragically died of a heart attack at the age of 52 on March 4, 2022, while staying at a luxury villa on the Thailand holiday island of Koh Samui.
While the tragedy rocked the nation, his children Brooke, Jackson and Summer hope Warne’s sudden death can inspire other Aussies to take action and save their own lives.
