Married At First Sight star Richard Sauerman has revealed his one big regret from his time on the dating show.
Richard, 62, was paired up with Andrea Thompson on the Channel Nine dating experiment, but the couple decided to go their separate ways in Sunday’s episode.
Looking back at his journey on the program, Richard admitted there was one comment he wished he had never made.
He memorably shocked his co-stars with a racy remark about his sex life with Andrea, 51, during intimacy week.
He said: ‘We did intimacy week the week before intimacy week. We gazed, we hugged, we f***ed, we s***ed, we did everything, we did the whole lot.’

‘I wouldn’t have said that “we kissed, we licked…” comment at the commitment ceremony during intimacy week,’ Richard told Woman’s Day of his regret.
Richard also broke his silence on his split with photographer Andrea as they finally decided to part ways after days of tension between them.
He said of their relationship: ‘I can’t speak for Andie, but I tried. I think there was a deeper disconnect between us, which I’m still working out.’
He also admitted he knew taking part in the reality TV show would have its difficulties, which he said he is still ‘navigating’ now.
‘MAFS is not for the faint-hearted. I knew it would be tough, I wanted the challenge and I’m still navigating it,’ he said, before adding he is not yet ready to start dating again.

His comments come after Andrea lifted the lid on her marriage to Richard behind closed doors after sensationally quitting the experiment on Sunday.
Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Australia, she said she decided to end things with Richard because the couple’s constant fighting started to make her ‘feel crazy’.
‘Last week was very traumatic for me watching that. Your body actually feels everything you’re feeling again, so it’s been a lot and it’s been sad,’ she explained.
‘Seeing our fight air out. It was pretty hard. I actually felt like I was going crazy at the end.’
Despite the on-screen drama, Andrea insisted her feelings for Richard were genuine.
‘I never said I wasn’t into Richie. I’d always said ”I like you, I’m here, I’m trying”. But of course I would pull back when boundaries were crossed time and time again,’ she said.

Andrea also expressed her disappointment in Richard’s inability to engage in a meaningful conversation.
‘I just don’t think he was mentally able to,’ she said. ‘I was actually looking forward to some conflicts because everything was going too smoothly and I’m like, ”okay let’s see how we can navigate, hard times” and man they were hard.’
Although they had their ups and downs on the show, Andrea said the pair have since reached a peaceful understanding.
‘We’re good with each other… I still care about him, and I know he still cares about me,’ she explained.
