Revealing the Wealth of Eastern Suburbs’ Classless Housewives

Four socialites – Victoria Montano, Krissy Marsh, Victoria Rees and Matty Samaei – had jaws dropping and eyes rolling across the eastern suburbs last week after boasting of their wealth

Love them or loathe them, the foursome certainly has the means to justify such expensive taste – but one of the ladies stands head and shoulders above the others in terms of cash and assets.

Let’s take a look at how much cash these housewives actually have.

Krissy Marsh

Marsh appears to be the richest of the gang, having amassed a huge fortune in real estate over the years.

Nicknamed the ‘Property Princess’ on the first season of Real Housewives, she now lives in a $30million home in ritzy Double Bay.

The luxurious mansion sits on 2,300 sqm and boasts six bedrooms, an extensive art collection and a $30,000 chandelier.

It was a long journey to the top of the property ladder for Marsh who bought her first house with her four sisters when she was just 17 years old.

‘We were super lucky because it ended up virtually doubling in value,’ she previously said of her first real estate windfall.

‘We owned it for a while, but I walked away from that with a good deposit and I really wanted to own by myself.’

Marsh went on to purchase a home in Neutral Bay with one of her sisters for $240,000. It later sold for $790,000, having more than tripled in price.

In 2022, Krissy and her property developer husband John Marsh sold their five-bathroom mansion in Dover Heights for $12million, which helped them buy their current residence.

Matty Samaei

Matty may not be a real estate gazillionaire, but she is thriving.

The Persian-born businesswoman owns her own clinic in Double Bay, Medispa, which offers a range of solutions to target worry lines, frown lines and crow’s feet.

The salon was already doing well when she was cast on Real Housewives, but her role on the show resulted in an influx of new clients, some of whom book in treatments just to meet her and take selfies.

In 2020, Matty made a tidy profit when she sold her Bellevue Hill duplex – a penthouse and garden apartment below – for just under $9million.

The cosmetic nurse owned both properties with her ex-fiancé Michael Stathakis.

The then-couple first bought the garden apartment for $3.42million in 2015 before buying the penthouse for $4.45million in 2016.

Victoria Montano

Montano and her financier husband Tim Maher own a property in Darling Point which they bought from investment banker Charlie Aitken in 2016 for about $10.5million.

There have long been whispers about Montano and Maher’s wealth, but her spending would seem to suggest they have plenty in the bank.

From her designer outfits – including her signature jodhpurs – to her luxury family holidays, Montano’s social media presence creates the impression of a charmed life.

The brunette runs her own fashion brand Sports Luxe, while her husband is the executive director of debt management firm Fox Symes Debt Solutions.
