Fresh details have emerged about Snezana Wood’s ex-husband Jason Rapoff after their daughter Eve opened up about being estranged from her biological father.
Last week, the 19-year-old influencer broke down during a TikTok vox pop video as she revealed the ‘painful things’ Rapoff said to her during one of their last meetings.
These days, she calls her stepfather Sam Wood ‘Dad’ after he won her mother’s heart on The Bachelor in 2015. She also carries his surname instead of her father’s.
But the rift between Eve and Rapoff began long before Eve and Snezana left Western Australia to begin a new life with Sam in Melbourne.
Rapoff, 45, had married Snezana, 44, in January 2005, shortly after his release from a 12-month prison sentence for possession of methamphetamine and two firearms.

The marriage was blighted early on when Rapoff, a former state junior motocross champion, broke his back in a dirt bike accident at his family’s farm in Bindoon.
The accident left him paraplegic, and he would later tell the Herald Sun in 2015 he went into a ‘downhill spiral’ and pushed away his loved ones, including his daughter.
Rapoff and Snezana split six months after his life-changing crash. Eve was just two months old at the time.
In the years that followed, Eve was mostly estranged from her father.
Meanwhile, Rapoff turned to drugs and motorsports to cope, even managing to get back on a quad bike three months after breaking his back.
He previously remarked that the accident turned him into a full-blown drug addict, after years of only being a casual ‘user’.
Just five years after the breakdown of his marriage to Snezana, Rapoff was back in jail for possession of methamphetamine.
This time, he was sentenced to five years and four months, but only served three years and four months behind bars.
He began posting regularly on social media around November 2013, after his release from jail, and appeared to be enjoying his freedom.

Rapoff shared several posts in the following months that showed him reconnecting with his family – including daughter Eve – who was seven at the time of his release.
At one stage, Rapoff, who has his daughter’s name tattooed on his arm, even shared a painting he completed while in jail of a busty brunette flashing in a red dress.
The artwork bore a striking resemblance to his Macedonian ex Snezana.
By 2014, and despite his disability, Rapoff had immersed himself in the world of burnout competitions, often sharing videos of him participating in the daring shows.
He also started a YouTube channel to document his activities.
Life seemed to be looking up – but any hopes he may have had of reconnecting with Snezana and Eve were dashed when she landed a spot on the second season of The Bachelor Australia, starring personal trainer Sam Wood, in 2015.
As the country watched Snezana and Sam, 45, fall in love, Rapoff told the press his ex-wife was ‘dreaming’ if she thought she’d be able to leave Western Australia with their daughter to play happy families with Sam in Melbourne.
At the time, Rapoff, who was working full-time at his family’s Balcatta swimming pool business, admitted he was at fault for the downfall of their marriage.

It wasn’t simply her mother remarrying that drove a wedge between Eve and her father. The cracks in their relationship emerged before Eve and Snezana packed up their lives in WA to start anew with Sam in Melbourne. Eve and Rapoff are pictured together when she was seven
However, he had no intention of letting his daughter Eve move interstate without a fight – despite Snezana saying on national television she didn’t ‘belong’ in WA and wanted to live with Sam in Melbourne.
Another member of Rapoff’s family also told Daily Mail Australia at the time they would ‘try anything they can’ to convince Snezana to leave Eve in WA with her father.
They said the youngster was ‘big enough now to stay with her father’ and that her ‘grandparents can look after Evie if she were left [here] with the family’.
But Rapoff’s family’s pleas didn’t work.
Snezana and Sam got engaged in December 2015, soon after The Bachelor finale aired, and got a place together in Elsternwick months later.
They married in 2018 and went on to welcome three daughters of their own, Willow, seven, Charlie, five, and Harper, two – Eve’s half-sisters.
It appears Eve did attempt to maintain contact with her father after her move to Melbourne, but they last saw each other in 2017, when she was about 11 or 12.

Since then, Rapoff has had a rocky few years.
He started a new business in WA, then his father got into an accident after his truck blew a tyre and the trailer flipped, which landed him in hospital with a concussion.
That same year, Rapoff again found himself in trouble with the law.
In September 2022, he faced Midland Magistrates Court for driving or attempting to drive with any blood alcohol content and while a prescribed illicit drug was present in oral fluid or blood.
He was fined $600, plus costs of $264.30, and his driver’s licence was disqualified for three months.
Rapoff also appeared before the court on the same day for driving contrary to the conditions of an extraordinary licence, after allegedly driving outside permitted circumstances while on a conditional licence.
He was fined $300 and his extraordinary driver’s licence was cancelled.

In June 2024, Rapoff had a health scare: a tumour was growing near his spine.
‘Late last year, I found out I had a tumour growing near my spine. I had a biopsy in December and had an operation a few months ago to remove the tumour,’ he wrote on social media.
‘The surgery went well and I’m healing up,’ he added, alongside photos of the surgery wound on his back.
As far as we can tell, Rapoff has not mentioned Eve on any of his social media pages since before Snezana debuted on The Bachelor more than a decade ago.
Eve opened up about her biological father in a rare, deeply personal street interview that went viral last week.
She broke down in tears while speaking to the Dose of Society Instagram account after being asked: ‘What is the most painful thing anyone has ever said to you?’
Her candid response stunned viewers – many of whom didn’t know she was famous.
‘Probably that I don’t deserve the life I’m living,’ she began.

Wiping away tears, she explained it was her father who had made the comment.
‘I don’t know why he said that to me. I grew up just with my mum. She raised me to be the woman I am today. He wanted to see my mum suffer,’ she added.
‘And I think when he saw that my mum had built a life for both of us, it was just more of a reaction.’
Eve confirmed she had not seen her biological father in eight years and that he was largely absent from her childhood.
‘He was never around when I was little, so it was just my mum and I,’ she explained.
‘I was very close to my mum’s side, everyone was there to support me, but I think he just did some things a while back that [landed] him in places he shouldn’t have been in.
‘He just got involved with the wrong people.’
The heartfelt clip soon racked up hundreds of thousands of views and comments, with fans flooding the comments section to offer support and praise.

When asked what she would say to her mother today after everything she had gone through, Eve fought back tears once again.
‘How proud I am of her,’ she answered.
‘She’s done a lot. She sacrificed a lot. She was working 9-5, and after that going to uni. She got her bachelor’s in molecular genetics and biology.
‘Seeing how strong she is, how much strength she’s got to keep going through all of this – it makes me proud to be my mother’s daughter.’
Eve, who has grown up in the spotlight after her mother’s star turn on The Bachelor, later commented under the clip, offering insight into why she had been so upset.
‘Thank you so much for letting me share my story,’ she wrote.
‘My friends, family, and people around me know I’ve never really taken things too seriously, especially growing up in the public eye.
‘At such a young age, I think I learned to protect myself by just laughing things off because it was easier than actually addressing them.
‘But the question really caught me off guard. It had been such a long time since I’d been that honest with myself, and I didn’t expect to get that emotional.
‘I was nervous about how this would be received, especially being vulnerable on social media, knowing how harsh it can be.
‘But the kindness and messages I’ve received have meant more than I can explain.’
