Daily Mail Australia can reveal a handful of contestants – including fan-favourite Lucinda Light and innocent groom Collins Christian – have had experience as performers.
Despite claiming to be a 28-year-old Executive Assistant, Collins has appeared in television commercials.
The MAFS fan-turned-contestant, who had been attempting to be cast on the show for several years, appeared in an Ashley and Martin hair loss ad in 2022.

Sharing the clip to his Instagram, Collins revealed he was cast as ‘Raja’ for the brief stint.
‘Watching the World Cup and seeing your own mug on National TV for the 1st time….strange but also kinda cool!!’ he wrote in his caption.
