REVEALED: Blake Lively’s mother, 77, was a stunning model from Georgia who worked hard to raise her 5 kids

Blake Lively was born into a showbusiness family.

And her mother was a stunning model who looked just like the Gossip Girl actress with a photogenic face and a knockout body including long, toned legs.

The past career of Blake’s mother was brought to light by Robyn Lively, the 53-year-old sister of the Hollywood sex symbol.

Robyn – who stars on both hit series Landman and Lioness from Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan – shared old images of her 77-year-old mother named Willie Elain McAlpin, who goes by Elaine Lively.

And Robyn also posted a gushing note about how strong her mom is.

‘That’s my M❤️M ya’ll,’ began the Instagram caption.

‘Not many know this, but shortly after she stepped into her most important role as mother to her 5 kids, she became a successful model,’ wrote a proud Robyn.

‘Born on a farm in a small town in GA called Tallapoosa, my mom has worked hard and persevered her entire life. 

‘Bullied in school and constantly told that she would never amount to anything, she became more determined to succeed. 

‘With everything stacked against her, she managed to break free from societal norms and took massive risks,’ added the looker.

‘She is beautiful in every definition of the word. But her beauty transcends vanity. It’s rooted in creativity, talent, fearlessness, smarts, and most of all, courage. There’s simply no one else like her. 

‘When we were little, she would take us with her everywhere, including her print jobs for modeling. Soon they were using us (her kids) in the ads and from there I got an agent,’ Robyn noted.

‘She would drive me to auditions all over Atlanta. At 3 years old, I did my first commercial, at age 5 I was cast in a movie of the week. Mom would draw pictures in the scripts to help me learn and memorize my lines (before I was able to read). She gave me “extra pluses” and literally taught me how to act. She instilled in me confidence and self-worth,’ explained the movie and TV star.

‘And now that I’m an adult, I’m finally able to see her – not just as her child, but as a woman. And she’s extraordinary. She’s insanely tenacious, and has persevered through challenges and hardships that I could have never survived. And she somehow overcame them all with grace and dignity. 

‘She raised us with the belief that we could literally do anything we put our mind to. I absolutely would not be where I am today without her. 

‘Without her unconditional love, her unwavering support, her steadfast belief in me, and her mantra that creatively, “you can’t mess up.” She truly is extraordinary. 

‘She showed me how to love with my whole heart. She’s the best mama ever. I’m so grateful for the sacrifices she’s made for me that have given me such invaluable opportunities in life. I owe everything to her. Literally everything.

The Hollywood looker had her arms around Robyn, who played Ms Byland in the Blake’s movie It Ends With Us.

And she was also with Robyn’s husband Bart Johnson, 54, who is also an actor. He is best known for his role as Coach Jack Bolton in the High School Musical film series.

They brought their pretty red-headed daughter Isabela Ferrer, 20. 

Also there was Blake’s 58-year-old sister Lori Lively, actress, television co-host/designer, and acting coach. She is best known for Dead Space.

And her husband Ryan Reynolds was by her side as well, so was Blake’s mom.

The 37-year-old star commanded attention in a plunging light blue gown, which hugged every inch her hourglass figure, and added pink bracelets from Lorraine Schwartz. 

The premise, ‘Follows Stephanie Smothers (Kendrick) and Emily Nelson (Lively) as they head to the beautiful island of Capri, Italy, for Emily’s extravagant wedding to a rich Italian businessman,’ per IMDB.

The premiere comes after Lively was hit by widespread backlash for her speech at the Time100 Gala on Thursday night.

Ryan accompanied his wife to Thursday’s event held at Jazz at the Lincoln Center in New York City, where she was honoured as one of the magazine’s most influential people of the year.

In her speech, Blake alluded to her legal war with former co-star Justin and also revealed her mother’s past assault by a ‘work acquaintance.’

‘I have so much to say about the last two years of my life, but tonight is not the forum,’ she said, hinting at her ongoing bitter court battle with Baldoni, whom she accused of sexual harassment, which he denied.

Instead, she decided to speak about ‘the feeling of being a woman who has a voice today.’

Blake shared that her life was ‘influenced most’ by her mother, Willie Elaine McAlpin, who was the ‘survivor of the worst crime someone can commit against a woman.’

She said: ‘My mom never got justice from her work acquaintance who attempted to take her life when she was the mother of three young kids years before I was born.’

Blake stated that her mother credited a woman who shared a ‘similar circumstance’ on the radio with saving her life.

‘The woman painfully and graphically shared how she escaped. And because of hearing that woman speak about her experience instead of shutting down in fear and unfair shame, my mom is alive today. She was saved by a woman whose name she’ll never know.’

She then called womanhood a ‘pact that privately we must show others how to survive, literally or spiritually.’

‘We don’t let our daughters know, but one day we break their hearts by letting them in on the secret that we kept from them as they pranced around in princess dresses that they are not and will likely never be safe at work, at home, in a parking lot in a medical office, online — in any space they inhabit physically, emotionally, professionally.’

Blake called the ‘superpower of female triumph’ a ‘basic human right,’ and added, ‘Never underestimate a woman’s ability to endure pain.’

While she also paid tribute to Ryan, as she thanked ‘every man, including my sweet husband, who are kind and good when no one is watching.’
