Renee Zellweger was spotted filming new Bridget Jones scenes in Hampstead on Thursday, after angering A-list stars by asking them to leave their homes during filming.

The actress, 55, is back in action as her famous character in the latest film in the franchise, Mad About The Boy.

Renee wrapped up in a dusky pink coat as she filmed a picturesque Christmas scene during summertime.

She teamed the stylish coat with a burgundy scarf and sported a black cross-body bag and a blue rucksack as she waited patiently for her cue.

Renee added inches to her frame with a pair of knee-high leather boots and sported a sweet Christmas tree broch.

Renee completed her look by styling her locks up and showcased her natural beauty with a minimal makeup look.

The star was pictured with her onscreen daughter who looked adorable in a red tutu and a snowflake headband for the scene.

The new Bridget Jones sequel is reportedly driving celebrities mad with its filming schedule in London.

Stars including Harry Styles and Rami Malek who live near the North London streets where filming is taking place are not too happy with the production.

According to The Sun, film bosses have put letters through the doors of local residents asking them to only come and go at certain times to not interfere with filming.

A source said: ‘The film is causing chaos in this part of North London where they are shooting a lot of the film.’

‘Neighbourhoods with stars such as Harry, Rami, Ricky Gervais and Rowan Atkinson, living there are all getting letters from the production about not interrupting shots.’

The letters reportedly ask residents to either leave their homes during filming or not to come and go while the cameras are rolling.

The insider added: ‘It’s like they’re being held hostage by Bridget — and it’s driving everyone mad.’

The movie is based on the novel of the same name as Bridget battles motherhood alone following the tragic death of Mark, who was played in the previous films by Colin Firth, 63.

She will also embark on a love affair with a much younger man named Rockstar, played by One Day star Leo Woodall, 27.

In the new film, Bridget enjoys a fling with Rockstar and PE teacher Mr Walker, as played by 12 Years A Slave actor Chiwetel Ejiofor as well as reviving her on-off relationship with Hugh Grant’s Daniel Cleaver.

Chiwetel, 46, was seen shooting scenes last week which means only Hugh and Colin Firth – who has a small role in the movie as the late Mark Darcy – are yet to be spotted in character.
