Renee Zellweger traded the glitz and glamor of the Emmy awards on Sunday for something a little more down to earth.
Zellweger’s movie, Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy, was nominated for Outstanding Television Movie, but lost to Rebel Ridge, starring Aaron Pierre, Don Johnson and AnnaSophia Robb.
The actress, 56, cheered on her boyfriend Ant Anstead, 46, at his soccer game in Orange County, CA, even though the couple are not currently living together due to the TV host’s financial problems.
The Oscar winner kept her look lowkey, showing up for the match wearing a long sleeve white T-shirt over a pair of khaki green hiking pants.
Her long blonde hair was brushed straight and she protected her fair skin from the sun’s harsh rays with a billed denim cap with ‘London’ written on it.
While Anstead was busy on the pitch, the Bridget Jones franchise star could be seen keeping his son, Hudson, six, occupied by kicking their own ball around.

As he stepped on the pitch, Anstead looked dapper in a red, white and black jersey with black shorts.
He wore red and white knee high socks and black and white sneakers and worked up quite a sweat running back and forth across the field.
Play on the field must have been intense. Zellweger was seen tending to a scrape on the For the Love of Cars star’s arm after he fell on the pitch.
Some scrapes on his knees were also noticeable.
The actress was later seen watching the game from the sidelines and sitting with Anstead on a bench during half-time.

He revealed the Cold Mountain actress has had a hand in that.
‘She’s been a big influence on that; she’s very, very good at designing,’ he said of the Chicago star, ‘So, I’m obviously going to take advice from the person who’s way better at houses than I am.’
‘I am constantly being advised, because she’s the greatest human I’ve ever met,’ he said.
