Renee Zellweger appears to have thinner lips these days as she stepped out in London for the Bridget Jones Scenes Unveiling on Monday.
The 56-year-old Chicago actress looked happy as she wore light makeup with her blonde hair pulled up. But when she smiled for the camera her typical bee-stung puffy lips appeared smaller than unusual.
Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr Kahn weighed in on her morphing face.
‘Her face does look different in these photos but it’s likely very natural,’ he told the Daily Mail. ‘She is getting older and she is losing collagen in her face which may make her features appear more slender. Overall, she looks fantastic for a woman in her fifties and it’s nice to see a natural face.’
Zellweger’s looks have kept morphing over the years for some reason drawing the attention of her fans, but she has ignored the criticism for the most part and just focused on work.
The beauty’s career is still on fire as she recently starred in the hit sequel Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy. And the Texas native is in five episodes of Only Murders in the Building opposite Selena Gomez, Martin Short and Steve Martin.

In January another surgeon spoke with Daily Mail.
Dr Mark Solomos Plastic Surgeon from Channel 4’s 10 Years Younger, My Big Boobs and ITV’s Price of Perfection, told MailOnline: ‘First of all I want to say that I think Renee gets quite a hard time over her looks and what she may have had done, I personally think she looks great!’
‘Yes of course we can all see that her face has changed somewhat, but the main reason for this is that she has lost weight and as she’s got older her face has got thinner’.
He continued: ‘I suspect she has had an eyelid lift (blepharoplasty) as the eyes are far less hooded now. Not sure about the lower, she may have had lasers for tightening’.
‘As with most in Hollywood she will likely live a clean and healthy lifestyle- good diet, good exercise regime, second to none skincare routine. I think it’s likely she’s had some non-surgical skin tightening to her face but I don’t think she’s had anything else done. She’s obviously happy in her personal life and it reflects in how she looks’.
The Vogue cover photo has once again put Renee under scrutiny over her ever-changing appearance, with the star having displayed several different looks on the red carpet over the years.
Perhaps the most striking change was Renée’s appearance at the Elle Magazine 21st Annual Women in Hollywood awards back in 2014, where the beauty sported wider eyes.

The actress was quick to shut down plastic surgery rumors and instead credited her altered looks for living a more ‘different’ and ‘fulfilled’ life amid her six-year acting hiatus.Â
She told the Huffington Post two years after the event: ‘Not that it’s anyone’s business, but I did not make a decision to alter my face and have surgery on my eyes. I’m glad folks think I look different. I’m living a different, happy, more fulfilling life, and I’m thrilled that perhaps it shows.’
She went on to insist: ‘My friends say that I look peaceful. I am healthy. For a long time I wasn’t doing such a good job with that. I took on a schedule that is not realistically sustainable and didn’t allow for taking care of myself.
‘Rather than stopping to recalibrate, I kept running until I was depleted and made bad choices about how to conceal the exhaustion. I was aware of the chaos and finally chose different things.’
However, the actress’s statement did not completely quashed speculation that she may have turned to cosmetic beauty treatments to achieve her new look.Â
Dr Alex Karidis of London’s Karidis Clinic, who has never treated Renée, told MailOnline at the time that he believes Renée may have had an upper eye lift.

He reasons: ‘the distance between the brow and her eye is much smaller than before.’
According to Dr Karidis, the then 45-year-old’s brows don’t appear to be higher than before, suggesting she hasn’t had a brow lift.
Karidis suggested her flawless forehead could be down to the use of Botox.
He said: ‘Her forehead is smooth – you would expect more expressive wrinkles when she smiles which indicates a possible small dose of Botox between the eyelid and eye.’Â Â Â
