‘I think there might be a little mistake,’ Ferrell, who recently returned to his role of Ron Burgundy for the roast of Tom Brady, says. ‘Cause my daughter’s getting married.’
Witherspoon’s face falls as the error dawns on the front desk receptionist (Jack McBrayer). ‘Oh no,’ he groans. ‘We double booked your weddings!’
‘What!?’ Witherspoon and Ferrell snap.
‘Let’s get something straight,’ Ferrell later says. ‘If I look out at that dock and that bride’s not my baby girl, that bride’s going in the f**king lake!’
‘I’m going to kick your a** and it’s going to be embarrassing because you’re big and I’m little,’ Witherspoon, who runs a book club in real life, warns.
‘Let’s just all calm down,’ the receptionist interjects, prompting the duo to insist they are fine.
