Reese Witherspoon enjoyed dinner in New York with her lookalike daughter Ava, amid the movie star’s blossoming romance with financier Oliver Haarmann.
The 48-year-old Legally Blonde actress shares her older two children – Ava, 24, and Deacon, 20 – with her first ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.
She also amicably co-parents an 11-year-old son called Tennessee Toth with her second ex-husband, retired talent agent Jim Toth.
Earlier this week, she confirmed her new relationship, publicly holding hands with Oliver as they enjoyed a stroll together in New York City.
But amid her flourishing love life and jam-packed career, Reese found time for a one-on-one dinner with Ava in Manhattan on Thursday.

As Ava grew into adulthood, fans breathlessly noted that she was the spitting image of her mother, particularly since they were both blondes at the time.
Even though Ava recently debuted a new brunette hairdo, her resemblance to her mother was still uncanny when they met for dinner this week.
The similarity was particularly striking since they mirrored each other in their New York chic ensembles, combining black with dark blue.
Her night out with Ava came just one day after Reese was spotted strolling hand in hand in New York with Oliver, a German private equity financier.
She and Olivier were seen out in New York in late July, and DailyMail.com exclusively reported they had been on multiple dates before.
However an insider remarked in early August that Reese was ‘taking things slow when it comes to dating,’ adding that she is ‘friends’ with Olivier.
‘She enjoys it but doesn’t want it to be a big focus. She’s busy with work and her son. These are her biggest priorities,’ the source informed People.
Olivier is a founding partner of the private equity investment firm Searchlight Capital Partners and used to be a senior partner at the global investment firm KKR & Co.

At the time of their wedding, Reese was already pregnant with Ava, and they welcomed Deacon in 2003 before divorcing in 2008.
In 2011 Reese went down the aisle with Jim Toth, who as an agent represented such A-list names as Scarlett Johansson and Matthew McConaughey.
They announced their separation in March 2023, just two days before they would have celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary.

Insiders subsequently claimed that gossip had been circulating for months that the marriage was on the verge of collapse, via Page Six.
On April Fool’s Day last year it emerged that Reese had filed for divorce in Nashville, citing irreconcilable differences, according to TMZ.
Reese and Jim’s lifestyles were said to have diverged, as her Hollywood renaissance went gangbusters and he preferred more relaxation, per People.
A source said Jim, who used to be at CAA but left in 2019 to work at the doomed streamer Quibi, was more ‘laid-back’ while Reese was ‘headstrong and focused.’
‘They’ve been spending less and less time together while she was working,’ said one insider, as another claimed: ‘She has her hand in a lot of pots; he prefers less frenzy.’
Reese has a formidable list of projects in the pipeline, not only as an actress but also a producer – a role she has thrown herself into with gusto.
Her upcoming releases include a third season of her hit HBO series Big Little Lies, as well as a third Legally Blonde movie.
