The much anticipated Neighbours reboot made a humble ratings return on Monday, scoring a total TV audience of 244,000.
A mere 122,000 fans in the five metro centres tuned into to watch the return of the much-loved soap on Channel 10 in its 4.30pm time slot.
Another 54,000 viewers watched the show in regional areas, making a total national audience of 174,000.
Meanwhile, another 68,000 fans saw the debut episode on catch-up platforms including 10Play, and 10Peach, which repeated the show at 6.30pm.
Its total TV audience of 244,000 on Monday comes after what was supposed to be the show’s finale in July last year which pulled in 1.09million viewers.

Tuesday’s prime time ratings, meanwhile, saw The Block beat out its competitor’s as the most watched entertainment program overnight.
Channel Nine’s reality hit scored a whopping metro rating of 644,00, and finished sixth in the top ten most watched shows overall.
Also on Nine, The Hundred hosted by funnyman Andy Lee turned in a modest result for the network.
The comedy game show managed a metro of 332,000.
Over on Channel Seven Home and Away continued its strong season.
The long-running soapie pulled in 463,000 viewers in the major centres.

Ratings staved Channel 10, meanwhile, had only one strong performer overnight with comedy panel show The Cheap Seats drawing an audience of 306,000 in the five national centres.
Seven won the night overall capturing 31.6 per cent of the available audience, while Nine finished second with 28.4 per cent.
The ABC came in third overall with 17.2 of the audience. Channel 10 finished fourth on 14.7 per cent.
