The keys were handed to Nick Smart, the founder of perfume distribution company Agence de Parfum, and his husband Todd Graham, a pet food entrepreneur.
The property was previously owned by the author Peter Carey, who sold it for less than a million dollars in the early ’90s when he moved to New York.
Rebel wrote on Instagram on April 11 that year: ‘She’s sold. Thank you everyone for your interest in my Sydney house. Great result all round.
‘I am going to miss this house so much! But I hope the new buyers love it as much as I have.’
