Rebekah Vardy’s pal has said that ‘things are on the up’ as she throws herself into her new life in Italy and moves on from infamous ‘Wagatha Christie’ scandal.
The WAG, 43, has relocated from Leicester to Lombardy following her husband Jamie’s signing for Serie A side US Cremonese at the beginning of this month.
Rebekah has been busy giving an insight into their new life on social media as she shared snaps of herself and Jamie with their children, Megan, 20, Taylor, 15, Sofia, 14, Finley, eight, and six-year-old Olivia.
She has been working hard to ‘move on’ after she was embroiled in the infamous ‘Wagatha Christie’ scandal with Coleen Rooney in the UK.
The move abroad has the potential to prove a social boost to Rebekah as well as a ‘life after Leicester’ fly-on-the-wall Netflix documentary.
Friends of the couple have claimed that the couple are now living ‘La Dolce Vita’ in Italy as the WAG ‘draws a line’ under the drama.

A friend told The Mirror: ‘Jamie could have got more money going to the middle east but it’s not the most important thing… he’s living in Italy, what’s not to like?
‘There is no doubt it has been a tough time for Rebekah but she is made of strong stuff and has drawn a line under that whole affair.
‘With the Netflix show and the move to Italy things are really on the up for Rebekah.’
Daily Mail has contacted Rebekah’s representative for comment.
Back in May, The Mail on Sunday revealed that the controversial WAG had landed a fly-on-the-wall Netflix documentary which will chart the family’s lives.
The new show is described by insiders as ‘life after Leicester’, as her husband played his last match for the club.
Conveniently, it is said to be netting her more than £1 million, which could not come at a better time for the beleaguered mother of five, given her courtroom battle left her with a £1.4 million legal bill.
Her new show will again pit her against Coleen, who is making a rival reality show for Disney+.
A Netflix crew followed Rebekah and a group of friends at a Nottingham in May, where she watched her husband’s side draw 2-all with Nottingham Forest.

The couple, alongside kids Megan, 20, Taylor, 15, Sofia, 14, Finley, eight, and six-year-old Olivia, have been seen enjoying the sights in Rebekah’s Instagram posts

In 2019, fellow WAG Coleen Rooney shared a post to Instagram where she accused Rebekah of leaking stories about her to the press
Onlookers at the Brewhouse bar, which was packed with rival fans, joked that she was ‘bloody brave’ as she mingled with opposition supporters and even agreed to pose for photographs, despite the potentially hostile environment.
One pub-goer said: ‘Fair play to her. Becky is recognisable enough on her own but she was being followed around by a Netflix crew so it couldn’t have been more conspicuous – but she took it all in her stride. She joined in with the football banter and posed for some pictures when people came over.’
Rebekah appears to be loving every moment of her new life in Italy as the family soaked up the sun and the culture in an Instagram update last week.
She looked nothing short of sensational in a canary yellow maxi dress for one family snap and declared they already ‘felt at home’.
Later her younger children posed proudly next to an Italian sports car while the I’m A Celebrity star cuddled up to Jamie who proudly wore his new kit.
Rebekah captioned the post in Italian, which translated to: ‘In Italy we always feel at home’.
Jamie left Leicester at the end of last season and Rebekah took to social media to pay tribute to the city, where the Vardy family lived for 13 years.
She posted on Instagram: ‘Where history was made. Never thought saying goodbye and moving on would be so hard. Forever in our hearts. Will always be watching ! Ho smash it lads.’
‘Excited for this new journey in Italy. I can’t wait to get going with US Cremonese. New league, new challenge,’ Jamie wrote on X.
In 2019, fellow WAG Coleen Rooney shared a post to Instagram where she accused Rebekah of leaking stories about her to the press.
Mother-of-four Coleen, who is married to former England captain and Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney, had staged an elaborate sting operation to find out who was passing on stories about her private life to the press.
