Rebecca Judd has revealed her next holiday destination as she plans to flee Melbourne amid the city’s cold snap.

The AFL WAG, 41, took to her Instagram Stories on Thursday to share that she is soon set to jet off on her annual trip to Broome in western Australia.

Bec and her footballer husband Chris, 40, jet to the beach resort town every July with their kids – son Oscar, 12, daughter Billie, nine, and twins Tom and Darcy, six.

They are soon set to head for warmer climes once again after Melbourne was hit by its coldest morning of the year this week, with temperatures hitting 0C.

Confirming their travel plans, Bec shared a picture of the balmy 30C weather forecast in Broome as she got ready to flee the icy climes.

She wrote alongside the screenshot: ‘This is why we always come to Broome in July. Dry season, perfect heat, direct flight from Melbourne, great for kids.’

Bec and AFL star Chris are no stranger to luxury holidays as they often jet off to locations including Dubai and Los Angeles.

They also have a $1.2million getaway pad on Victoria’s holiday coast, which they are currently renovating in a huge property overhaul.

The sprawling home is located in Main Ridge near Arthur’s Seat, just 85 kilometres from Melbourne on the Mornington Peninsula.

The renovation will see revamped home feature three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a luxurious sculptured garden, as well as a circular pool and a small extension.

Their upcoming trip comes as Melbourne marked its coldest morning of the year so far on Wednesday, with temperatures reaching below zero in a shocking chill.

In the city centre, temperatures sat at just over 1 degree but felt as cold as -2.7C in the early hours of the morning.

Residents in outer areas including Horsham, Bendigo, the Mornington Peninsula and Geelong were left battling temperatures below zero.

The coldest temperature in the wider region was recorded at Coldstream, where the mercury fell as low as -2C overnight.

The cold snap continued on Thursday morning, with locals seen bundled up in scarfs and winter jackets as they braced the icy weather on their morning commutes.

If the low climes continue, Melbourne could be set to face the coldest week the city has seen in more than a decade.

And if the temperature dips below -2.5C at Melbourne Tullamarine Airport – which has currently recorded lows of -1C – it would be the coldest temperature on record since 1986.
