Rebecca Gibney has taken to social media to announce a major life change, revealing she will be relocating from her lavish home in Dunedin, New Zealand.
The Halifax f.p. star, 59, shared a video capturing her exquisitely designed five bedroom property on the South Island and explained she was moving for family.
‘There have been major changes happening for us. We have decided to leave our beautiful beachside home and head north – to stalk our son,’ she wrote.
‘Actually, for a variety of reasons, but stalking Zac sounds better! On to new adventures. Love you Dunners.
‘Thanks for being my haven. I will miss you and your beautiful people,’ she added.

Rebecca’s 19-year-old son Zachary is studying acting at a drama school in Wellington on New Zealand’s North Island.
Gibney had lived on the 12.5 hectare property since 2017 with her husband Richard Bell.
In December, Gibney revealed that the secret behind her long and loving marriage is friendship, not fireworks.

The Australian actress told Stellar her 22 years with her husband Richard have been filled with support and comfort.
‘You’ve got to have an open line of communication and honesty – and really be prepared to answer hard questions and discuss hard things,’ she said.
She went on to explain that because the pair found love ‘later in life’, in their 30s, they knew exactly what they wanted from a relationship.

‘You realise that it’s not about the fireworks and all that. Certainly we had that, but we both knew going into it we wanted the long-term thing’ she said.
‘You know, maybe the romance might wane, [but] compromise is key as well. You have to be able to step back and go, it is better to be kind than right sometimes? Get your ego, your pride out of the way.
‘This argument, is it going to matter in five minutes, five years, 50 years? Probably not. So, you know, take your foot off the gas.’
Rebecca and production designer Richard married in 2001 and share one son, Zachary.
