Rav Wilding has returned to Morning Live for the first time since revealing he’s split from his wife Jill Morgan after 12 years of marriage.
The presenter, 46, first shared on Tuesday that he had secretly ended his marriage, and on Thursday made his first TV appearance following the news.
Joined by hosts Gethin Jones and Janette Manrara, Rav discussed a recent rise in anti-social behaviour, and offered advice on how viewers can feel safer on the streets.
The Crimewatch star previously announced that he and producer Jill split up last year, writing on Instagram Stories: ‘For those asking questions… myself and @jillmorganx amicably separated last year.
‘Our focus is co-parenting our hugely loved and beautiful daughter.’

Addressing his followers on his Stories, he wrote: ‘For those asking questions… myself and @jillmorganx amicably separated last year. Our focus is co-parenting our hugely loved and beautiful daughter’
The couple tied the knot in May 2017 in Barbados, and went on to welcome three-year-old daughter Poppy.
Jill is a television producer, who has worked on Loose Women, Top Gear and Children In Need.
Rav proposed to her after only seven months of dating in 2012 while on holiday in the Caribbean.
A month before he popped the question, he gushed about their future, saying: ‘It is early days for us but I’m very happy. I would like kids in the future, yeah. We’ll just have to see what happens.’
They were forced to cancel their nuptials however, after Rav sustained an injury while training for Splash! in December 2013.
The former soldier underwent surgery after snapping the hamstring tendons in his left leg during a somersault dive for the now defunct ITV diving show.
His injuries meant he did not appear on the show, fronted by Tom Daley, and he later sued the producers, claiming his career was derailed as a result.
Rav and Jill had been due to have their wedding in the summer of 2015 but were forced to postpone, with Rav saying: ‘It breaks my heart that Jill and I had to cancel our wedding.

‘She has been so supportive during this whole ordeal and all I want to do is show my commitment to her, and even that’s been taken away. It’s on hold indefinitely at the moment until we can get back on track.’
In November 2019, he announced that they were expecting their first child together in a post on social media which read: ‘We have some exciting news!
‘Our family is expanding and baby Wilding is due to make an appearance next year! It’s been a long hard journey… but we got there in the end.’
Then in June 2020, he announced the birth of their baby girl and her sweet name, with a snap of the couple taking her home from the hospital.
He wrote: ‘She is here and she is perfect! . . Introducing Poppy Rose Wilding 02.06.20’.
Before his relationship with Jill, Rav famously dated Big Brother star Chantelle Houghton from 2010 until 2011.
The pair’s relationship broke down after they were snapped having a furious and public row in London’s Richmond Park.
They had appeared the picture of contentment as they shared a bottle of champagne lounging on the grass, before getting into a fiery argument.
The Crimewatch star was seen angrily shouting at Chantelle, leaving the reality star in floods of tears.

An on-looker told The People: ‘The two were having an almighty row. She looked absolutely shocked as he pointed at her and even grabbed her arm. He looked furious. He was shouting at her and jabbing his finger.’
Rav later confirmed they had broken up, tweeting that he had ‘drawn a line’ under the relationship and claiming it hadn’t been ‘the genuine thing’.
He wrote: ‘Wanted to clarify situation after speculation 2day. Sadly Chantelle & I are no longer in a relationship as I’ve had to draw a line under it.
‘It’s been a really difficult week and a lot has gone on, & I appreciate everyone’s kind words. The relationship wasn’t what I wanted so badly and wasn’t the genuine thing I thought it was.
‘It’s so upsetting as I genuinely & truly loved Chantelle, but the publicity side isn’t always reflective of the truth.
‘All I ask is that you don’t believe everything that’s written, and thanks again to everyone who’s been in touch means a lot x’.
The following week Chantelle broke her silence on the bust-up and split, admitting it had been the ‘toughest’ week of her life.
She told the Mirror: ‘You give six months of your life to someone – you don’t expect this treatment.

‘Everyone could see it was aggressive. I’ve had such a horrible week – it’s been the toughest of my life.
‘For a girl, especially, it’s been horrible. No girl wants to go through this. I find it really painful to talk about. I’m hurt – and I don’t feel good at the moment.’
She had previously revealed that the pair had clashed because Rav struggled to deal with the fact that she had been married before.
Chantelle met her ex-husband Preston, of Ordinary Boys fame, on Celebrity Big Brother and they married in August 2006, only to split up 10 months later.
Talking about her relationship with Rav at the time, she said: ‘We have little rows – Rav finds it really hard that I’ve been married before.
‘It doesn’t anger me but I don’t like someone wanting to change my past because I wouldn’t change it for anything – I don’t regret any of it.
‘I don’t think Rav wants to acknowledge it, but what went on between me and Preston is important.’
