Rare Nepo Baby of TV Star Mom and Jedi Dad Spotted in New Photo

Rachel Bilson shared a rare photo of her mini-me daughter Briar for her birthday.

The actress took to Instagram to share a sweet tribute as her ‘golden girl’ marked her 11th birthday on Wednesday, October 29.

In the photo, her preteen daughter wore a striped summer camisole and pants set, and she was seen reaching her arm above her head, and in front of her face, for leaves on a tree. 

‘My very own Golden Girl. Happy 11th Birthday, my sweet Briar,’ she wrote alongside three yellow heart emojis.  

The OC star, 44, shares her daughter with her ex-boyfriend Hayden Christensen, whom she dated from 2007 to 2017.

This comes after Bilson recently opened up about being fired by a company for a bizarre sex comment on a podcast.

She also took to her Instagram Story to share a glimpse at how they celebrated Briar’s special day. 

Bilson shared a snapshot of her homemade key lime pie.

Over the snap, she wrote: ‘She requested my key lime pie. Don’t judge a book… Made with love.’ 

Bilson shares her daughter with Christensen, 44. 

They welcomed Briar in 2014, six years into their relationship after she and the Star Wars star met on the set of their 2008 film Jumper. 

When Briar was three years old, the pair called it quits but have continued co-parenting amicably. 

In 2021, Bilson opened up about their friendly relationship and their successful co-parenting. 

‘Communication is key and just being on the same page, so everything’s about the kid,’ she told People at the time. ‘As long as you put the kid first, everything will be OK.’

In an episode of her podcast Broad Ideas, which she co-hosts with Olivia Allen, Bilson opened up about her daughter’s personality and how it differs from her own.

‘Bry’s definitely a different kid than I was. Like 100 percent,’ Bilson told Allen on the podcast.

‘I almost feel weird talking about it with other parents because she doesn’t throw fits,’ she added. 

‘It’s not how she is. So if there’s ever a time where she’s off or gets, kind of upset about something, it totally dis-regulates me.’

When asked about why she is shy to ‘brag’ about her daughter in that regard, she explained: ‘I just mean it sounds like, “Oh my kid doesn’t throw fits.” 

‘You know, but I’m like, no. It’s actually the truth.’
