An Australian rapper has spoken out after his wife shoved a woman off the stage at his show in Cairns on Sunday night.
Blake Turner, known by the stage name ChillinIT, was dancing on stage when a young woman climbed onto the platform.
She was then pushed off by the rapper’s partner Natasha Rayner, fell back into the crowd and sustained a head injury.
Turner told the Cairns Post his wife was ‘distraught’ about the incident.
‘No one should rush a stage and the young girl, everyone felt for, but my wife reacted out of instinct,’ he said.

‘I shut the show down to get her medical attention and physically put her on an ambulance. I then also attended to my wife who was distraught.’
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman confirmed a woman in her 20s was transported to Cairns Hospital in a stable condition. She has been discharged.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Turner for comment.
