Kathy Griffin’s estranged husband Randy Bick is requesting spousal support and for his attorney’s fees to be covered by the comedian.
Bick, 45, filed the request after Griffin, 63, hired a private investigator to track him down and serve him with divorce papers after his whereabouts became unknown to her.
Bick’s requests were in line with the former couple’s prenuptial agreement, according to a court filing obtained by People magazine.
According to the filing, Bick had not been in contact with the My Life on the D-List star since leaving their shared home, and he didn’t communicate where he was ‘residing or staying’.

The funnywoman filed for divorce from her husband Randy Bick in 2019, just days before celebrating what would have been their four year wedding anniversary.
TMZ reported that Griffin filed the divorce documents in Los Angeles County with the date of separation given as December 22.
She cited irreconcilable differences and stated in the documents she has a prenuptial agreement with Randy dated to December 23, 2019.
The former couple tied the knot on New Year’s Day in 2020.
Griffin asked the court to enforce the prenup and terminate its ability to grant alimony to either party, according to People at the time.

After ‘growing apart,’ Griffin reportedly felt divorce would be the only way she could ever feel like herself again.

‘Kathy was in love and is still in love with her ex and as heartbroken she is with how this all has turned out, Kathy loves living life,’ an insider said.
They added, ‘She always wants to have fun. She wants to travel and do things with a man she loves who has the same aspirations.’
‘Kathy is just over 60 but still feels in her thirties and wants to enjoy life and has a fun and focused outlook on life and Randy did share that with her.’
The comedian married the marketing executive on New Year’s Day 2020 after meeting at a food and wine festival in 2011.
Griffin and Bick they briefly brought the curtain down on their romance in 2018.
‘God help me, but I’m gonna be one of those people who announces a break up,’ she tweeted then. ‘It’s not acrimonious and I will always adore him.’
During their first seven-year stretch as a couple, Griffin saw her her career implode in early 2017 over a viral image of her holding a severed-head dummy of Donald Trump, who was then the newly inaugurated President Of The United States.

According to Griffin, the scandal also turbulence into Bick’s personal life because his family were supporters of the president.
‘My boyfriend, whom I live with and he’s my tour manager as well, you know, his family struggles with him now…they’re Trumpers,’ said Griffin.
She told Entertainment Tonight years later that she and Bick ‘took a little break’ for four months around the time of the controversy.
‘And now, we just came to the decision that, we’ve really been through so much together. We’ve now been together over eight years,’ she reflected in 2019.
‘Even though he’s 19 years younger, we both turned to each other and realized, this is the longest relationship for both of us, you know? We should fight for it and make it work. And you know, it was just one of those things where, it was a lot of pressure.’
After their brief split in 2018, they got back together in 2019 and were married by comedy icon Lily Tomlin on New Year’s Day 2020.
