Rami Malek had fans seeing double on Wednesday as he stepped out in New York City with a mystery woman, who appeared to be the spitting image of his ex-girlfriend, Lucy Boynton.
The actor, 44, looked typically dashing for his outing in a striped collared shirt, partly unbuttoned to reveal a white T-shirt underneath.
He teamed it with brown high-waisted trousers and chunky black boots, while shielding behind a pair of aviator shades as he chatted away.
His female companion nailed summer chic in a white broderie anglaise dress paired with snakeskin print loafers, while toting a phone case emblazoned with the royal initials ‘HRH’.
However, the most head-turning aspect of her look was her remarkable resemblance to actress Lucy, 31, with similar bright blonde hair, chic style and flawless good looks.
Rami and Lucy previously dated for more than five years, after starring together in the 2017 biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, for which Rami won an Oscar for playing Freddie Mercury, with Lucy playing the Queen icon’s ‘wife’ Mary Austin.

The two clicked quickly on the set of the film, but kept their relationship mostly under wraps until the 2019 Academy Awards.
Rami chose the biggest moment of his career to confirm their romance, kissing Lucy after his name was read out as the winner of the Best Actor award.
And in his acceptance speech, the Egyptian-American actor publicly declared his love for her, gushing: ‘Lucy Boynton, you are the heart of this film, you are beyond immensely talented, you have captured my heart. Thank you so much.’
Reflecting on the moment to You magazine in 2022, Lucy said: ‘It sounds so silly but I was really unaware of the public element of that.
‘You’re just absorbing, millisecond by millisecond, what is happening, and then suddenly you hear the applause and you realise it’s been a public moment, which is slightly strange.’
However, in August 2023 it was confirmed that the couple had gone their separate ways following months of speculation, including Rami being seen singing along with with Emma Corrin at a Bruce Springsteen concert in Hyde Park the month prior.
A source claimed at the time that Lucy and Rami had decided to end their relationship earlier that year after ‘growing apart.’
They told The Sun: ‘Rami and Lucy split earlier this year without much fanfare. They were together for a long time but had grown apart.’

Rami was said to be working with a leading jeweller to design a ‘special ring to mark his commitment to Emma’ last summer, while the Crown star was later seen with a sparkling band on their ring finger at the Venice Film Festival in September.

Emma has seemingly moved on with up-and-coming actor Zachary Hart, who they starred opposite on stage earlier this year in a production of Anton Chekov’s The Seagull.
The pair were snapped sharing a tender kiss while on a romantic stroll in north London in June, with the Daily Mail understanding they have been enjoying a ‘very low-key’ relationship away from the public eye.
