Lauren Phillips has made a very surprising admission about her ‘mate’ Matt Damon.

The radio host, 41, admitted on Nova’s Jase and Lauren show on Wednesday that she hasn’t actually seen any of Matt’s films.

She then revealed how Matt convinced her to watch his Oscar-winning 1997 film Good Will Hunting that he both starred in and co-wrote with Ben Affleck.

‘Lauren is terrible at matching movies,’ her co-host Jase Hawkins revealed during an interview with the Hollywood actor.

‘We were quizzing her yesterday and the only movies she’s really seen are Christmas movies and I think you [Matt] guilted her into watching Good Will Hunting.’

Lauren shot back: ‘No, he didn’t guilt me into it. I said: “If I watch one of your movies which one should it be”.’

‘And Matt responded “How about the one I wrote when I was a kid? Why don’t you watch that one? The seminal moment in my life”.’

Lauren then revealed that she had recently spent time with Matt’s children Alexa, Isabella, Gia, and Stellar and they rated the actor’s films.

‘One night we sat with his kids and we went through every movie he’s ever done and they ranked them,’ she said.

‘They gave them scores out of 10 – like our very own Rotten tomatoes happening around the table.’

Matt added that while his children hadn’t seen many of his movies, they were still tough critics.

She then revealed how Matt (pictured) had convinced her to watch his Oscar-winning 1997 film Good Will Hunting that he both starred in and co-wrote with Ben Affleck 

The actor, who was on the show to promote his latest film The Instigators, also hinted that he would like to host a private Australian premiere of the film at good mate Chris Hemsworth’s house in Byron Bay.

‘Lozzie, I was thinking this one opens on August 9 on Apple TV plus, we are going to be down in Australia,’ he said.

 ‘We’ll be in Byron, so we’ll have an Australian premiere at Chris’ house, we’ll have a red carpet – we’ll put a towel down because you’ll be the only reporter, and we can live stream the event,’ the superstar joked.

Lauren, who lives in Melbourne, was introduced to Damon by the Hemsworth family several years ago.

Her aviation tycoon fiancé, Paul O’Brien also counts Matt and Chris as his friends.
