Rachael Finch steps out with children after dance injury

Rachael Finch suffered a gruesome injury during a dance rehearsal on Tuesday when he partner stood on her toes, leaving them bloodied and bruised.

And the former Miss Universe Australia winner, 35, was spotted for the first time since the incident on Wednesday. 

Rachael stepped out with her children to get an ice-cream in Coogee.

The mother-of-two — who shares daughter Violet, eight, and son Dominic, five, with husband Michael Miziner, rugged up from the cold in a black Aje Athletica coat over a turtleneck sweater.

She completed the laid-back look with a pair of leggings while accessorising with a set of grey socks.

She covered up her injury with a pair of stylish trainers and tied her brunette locks into a bun.

The fitness influencer believes she has broken her toe after her dance partner accidentally stepped on her foot with full force.

In the video posted to social media, Rachael explained she was experiencing a lot of pain as she lay on her bed with an ice pack on her foot.

She then moved the camera close to reveal her bruised and bloodied toe.

‘This is why you do not take up action sports in a competitive way like my nature at 35 years old,’ she said.

‘We will know more tomorrow, but it’s most likely a broken toe. Absolute accident, we were just practising this step and then Dan was just standing back but stomped back with all his weight,’ she explained.

‘His Latin heel on his shoe stamped right on my open toe.’

‘I looked down and my toe was bruised instantly and blood started coming out. I knew I had to get home and ice my foot straight away.’
