Diddy’s stepson Quincy Brown has had a change of heart over his new face tattoo that spells ‘Perfect’ just under his left eye.
It turns out, after receiving a barrage of backlash and negative feedback on social media, the singer and actor decided to have the body ink removed by laser.
In fact, the New York city native decided to document the removal by shooting a video of himself getting the laser procedure done and sharing it on his Instagram page.
‘Y’all made me do it,’ Brown, 32, wrote across the beginning of the clip that also served as promotion for his new single by adding a snippet of Perfect In My Eyes.
It appears he directed that comment to the tattoo naysayers, and in particular, one person who seemed to sum up the backlash by writing: ‘Bruh go laser that s**t off & don’t piss me off! Why would you touch your perfect face!’

Brown was replying to one of the naysayers who told him to ‘laser that s**t off! Why would you touch your perfect face!’
Brown is seen moments after walking into the office of the laser removal company when a woman from behind the camera asks if he was doing this because ‘the people hated so much.’
‘Whatever,’ he responds as opens a door to make the sort walk to the laser room.
‘We’re at the laser place, okay?’ the Brotherly Love star explains in the video, before making his way in to meet the laser technician, who tells him she has to do this quickly.
He then proceeds to lay down in the chair and strike a few poses by turning his head from side-to-side to give a good view of his ‘Perfect’ tattoo.
From there, the camera is directed to the actual laser machine that will be used for the tattoo removal.
Looking somewhat uncomfortable and worried, Brown then leans back in the chair with goggles over his eyes as a form of protection so the laser process can begin.
He can be seen wincing and making strange faces as the woman works on his face, and then a few seconds later the video fades to black.
The ‘Perfect’ tattoo appears to have coincided with the release and promotion of new song Perfect In My Eyes.

There’s been a slew of backlash from many of his fans and followers who weren’t fans of the body ink under his left eye
More naysayers either told him to stop with the face tattoos while others questioned whether the body ink was real or temporary
Some people think Brown initially got the ‘Perfect’ face tattoo as a promotional ploy for his new single Perfect In My Eyes
But not everyone thought that was the prefect decision to make, and they let him know about it in the comments section.
‘Perfectly ruined face’ and ‘No more facial tattoos’ were among the many negative comments that were shared, for which Brown obviously took to heart.
Another follower asked: ‘I hope that’s not a real tattoo,’ while another fan wondered if this was in fact all about the promotion for his new single by writing, ‘You got that tattoo for this song? Chiii.’
There were also some commenters who questioned whether his face tattoo was permanent or just temporary ink.
‘Idk if it was ever a real tattoo,’ one skeptical user wrote, along with a questioning face emoji.

Diddy essentially became Quincy Brown’s stepfather and raised him as his own during his long on-and-off relationship with his late mother Kim Porter, who passed away in 2018; Brown is seen second from left while standing next to his mom
Others seemed a bit stunned that Brown, whose biological father is singer Al B. Sure and mother was the late actress Kim Porter, even took the time to listen to all strangers on the internet who were part of the backlash.
‘You listened to random ppl on the internet about your own face??’ one person wrote, along with a crying laughter emoji. ‘I wouldn’t get a face tattoo but I also know I have no darn right to tell someone else what they can and can’t do with their face, body etc.’
‘I can’t believe they bullied you into changing your tattoo,’ another user chimed in. ‘If it made you happy you should have kept it. Yeah you’re a star….. BUT YOU’RE ALSO YOUR OWN PERSON .lol famous people deserve to live too.’
Brown was three-years-old when his mother started dating Diddy, or P. Diddy, in 1994. They went on to have an on-and-off relationship for more than a dozen years, during which time the rap mogul became Quincy’s stepfather and raised him as his own.
