It was a very regal affair at Flemington Racecourse on Thursday as celebrities donned their finest jewels to celebrate 2023 Kennedy Oaks Day.
This year, racegoers were encouraged to wear a purple hue as part of their raceday outfit, to raise awareness fot the Good Friday Appeal in their quest to help sick children.
Fresh from their matchy-matchy Melbourne Cup ensembles, Princess Diana’s twin nieces Eliza and Amelia Spencer stole the show as they arrived at The Birdcage in coordinating white outfits and extravagant, draping amethyst necklaces and headpieces.
The statuesque sisters posed side-by-side for photos, with Amelia dazzling in a puffy-sleeved pantsuit, silver pointy-toed heels and a matching clutch bag.
Eliza meanwhile wore a white jumpsuit that featured an asymmetrical bodice.

Joining the pair at The Birdcage was racing identity Kate Waterhouse, who looked ethereal in a white lace gown by Zimmermann paired with a Dior clutch bag worth around $2,000.
She slicked her hair back into an up-do secured with a white hair bow by EZARA/J, and added height to her lithe frame with a pair of open-toed black heels.
For makeup, the daughter of horse trainer Gai Waterhouse and bookmaker Robbie Waterhouse wore winged eyeliner, peach-toned blush and a slick of red lipstick.
