Musician Patti Scialfa was among the 14 distinguished New Jersey citizens to be inducted into the New Jersey Hall Of Fame.
The 15th annual induction ceremony was held on Sunday at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, New Jersey.
Legendary rocker Bruce Springsteen, 74, helped induct Scialfa, who’s not only his wife but also a member of his longtime backing band the E Street Band.
Writer, producer and director David Chase, 78, who’s best known for his work on the legendary HBO drama series The Sopranos, was also among the inductees.
Another E Street Band member Steven Van Zandt, who also starred on The Sopranos, was on hand to present Chase his award, which is the highest private honor that can be bestowed upon a New Jersey citizen.

Some of the other esteemed honorees to officially be inducted into the New Jersey Hall Of Fame included Tiki Barber, Sue Wicks, Tony Orlando, Finn Wentworth, Josh Weston, Steve Adubato, Sr., Charles Edison, George Shultz, George Segal, and Dorothy Porter Wesley.
Springsteen, a 2008 New Jersey Hall Of Fame inductee , was all smiles as he proudly stood at the podium to share some kind words about his wife and why she is so deserving of the honor.
The Born To Run singer-songwriter, who’s a Long Branch, New Jersey native, looked as fit as ever in denim jeans with a black blazer over a black dress shirt.
After presenting his wife and bandmate with her hall of fame award the longtime couple shared a kiss at the podium.
Scialfa, who was dressed in all-black ensemble, hails from Deal, New. Jersey, which is situated along the Jersey Shore in Monmouth County.
The singer-songwriter and guitarist graduated from Asbury Park High School, the same city Springsteen honed his musical chops in before striking the big time in the 1970 and 80s.
She joined the E Street Band in 1984, just days before the opening show of the Born In The U.S.A. Tour.
Scialfa has also recorded three solo studio albums during her prestigious career: Rumble Doll (1993), 23rd Street Lullaby (2004), and Play It As It Lays (2007).
Her first two albums received four-star reviews from Rolling Stone, while the third received three and a half stars. Springsteen and fellow E Street bandmates, like Nils Lofgren and Roy Bittan, have contributed to her records.

Scialfa and Springsteen fell in love during the Tunnel of Love Express Tour in 1988 and then welcomed their first child together, son Evan, 33, in 1990.
The couple would tie-the-knot in June 1991 at their Los Angeles home that was attended by family and close friends.
Not long later the family decided to pick back up and return to live in New Jersey, where they ultimately bought a ranch in Colts Neck.
Along with Evan, Springsteen and Scialfa also have a daughter Jessica, 32, and son Samuel, 29.
While Springsteen was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1999, Scialfa would follow him into rock immortality by being sent in as a member of the E Street Band in 2014.
Chase was born in Mount Vernon, New York, but he grew up in a small garden apartment in Clifton, New Jersey and North Caldwell, New Jersey.
He worked on The Sorpanos as a writer and producer during its six season run from 1999 and 2007.

Award-winning actor, comedian and filmmaker Danny DeVito acted as the master of ceremonies during the festive evening that also included a jam session where Springsteen, Scialfa, Van Zandt and Orlando all took part.
Anna Diaz-White and Michael Fux were honored as this year’s Unsung Heroes, an award which recognizes game-changers in the state of New Jersey that are not typically recognized for their work in bettering their communities, according to the organization’s official press release.
