Andy Serkis looked every inch the proud parent as he and his wife Lorraine Ashbourne joined their son Louis Ashbourne Serkis at the premiere of 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple in Waterloo, London on Tuesday.Â
The actor, 61, was all smiles as he posed alongside his son, 21, who plays a character named Tom in the film, the latest film in the 28 Days Later franchise.
Andy cut a casual figure on the red carpet in a blue patterned bomber jacket which he wore with dark chinos.
Louis opted for a maroon shirt with matching trousers which he wore with a black T-shirt and silver necklace.
Lorraine, 65, wrapped up in a green and black houndstooth jacket which she wore with a black dress and matching shoes.
Andy and Lorraine have been married since 2001 and, along with Louis, they are also parents to Ruby, 28, and Sonny, 26.

Louis’ first on-screen appearance was in 2012’s The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, which featured his dad’s return as Gollum.Â
The role, credited as ‘Cute Young Hobbit’, marked the beginning of what has become a successful journey so far into the family business.
In 2018, he appeared as the wolf cub Bhoot in Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle, directed by and co-starring his father.
He then landed the lead role in the 2019 film, The Kid Who Would Be King, co-starring Sir Patrick Stewart and Rebecca Ferguson.
He also starred alongside Anya Taylor-Joy in the hit Netflix series, The Queen’s Gambit, and more recently, played the troubled teen son of Martin Clunes’ character in ITV’s Out There.
Louis’ sister Ruby, is also an actress, best known for The Letter for the King on Netflix, while his brother Sonny has dipped into acting too.
‘I was never obliged to take part in what they do and they never forced it on me and said ‘this is what your going to do’,’ Louis told The Mirror earlier this year.Â
‘But I love it, I have always loved entertaining and bringing joy through that. Â

‘I think if you get the opportunity to tell a story and to inspire people I think you should take it.
‘I was young and in a way stumbled into acting, and tried it when I was around seven or eight.’
