He got the axe after competing in a challenge in which designers were tasked with creating a hairstyle-inspired ensemble.
Per a biography on Bravo’s website, Michael grew up in Moorefield, West Virginia and ‘always had a passion for fashion.’
Following his mother’s death, he was reared by his supportive grandparents, who encouraged him to always be himself.Ā
He’s an autodidactic designer, and unconventionally shaped his first pattern by tracing his body onto fabric, according to Bravo.
Michael began designing for drag queens early in his career, as well as other entertainers he knew from two decades in the drag scene.
During that time he hosted a weekly drag show at the only gay bar in central Mississippi.Ā
Throughout his design career, Michael has found a niche in outfitting people for pageants and other stage-focused events, including Rupaul’s Drag Race.
The former television personality has not been active on Instagram, where he has 25,000 followers, since December 2022.
