In the throwback snap the footballer, who has won numerous individual accolades throughout his career, can be seen sporting a green-and-white striped football shirt.
The star looks almost unrecognisable as his younger self sports curly hair in the snap instead of his now short signature haircut.
Meanwhile, his mother cut a stylish figure in a white lace embroidered top and beige tailored trousers.

The Portuguese professional footballer plays as a forward for and captains both the Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr and the Portugal national team.
Ronaldo has won numerous accolades throughout his career such as five Ballon d’Or Awards, a record three UEFA Men’s Player of the Year Awards, four European Golden Shoes, and was named five times the world’s best player by FIFA.
He has won 33 trophies in his career, including seven league titles, five UEFA Champions Leagues, the UEFA European Championship, and the UEFA Nations League.
Alongside the throwback snap, Cristiano shared with his followers a sweet snap of himself and his mother now.
The star could be seen beaming from ear to ear as he smiled for the cameras alongside his mother Dolores Aveiro, 70, while sporting his team training football kit.

She was shown how the new car worked as she struggled to hold back tears of happiness
A video of the moment she was shown her new car was shared on social media at the time.
During the video, Dolores was taken to the Porsche by Ronaldo’s son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, and she struggled to hold back her tears after realising the gift she had been given.
The car was wrapped with a huge red ribbon tied in a bow, and Dolores was overcome with emotion as she hugged her grandson before getting into the car for the first time.
She was then briefly shown how the new car worked, while her family, including Cristiano himself, watched on from inside the garage.
Cristiano’s sister, Katia, hailed her brother on Instagram at the time for his generous gift to their mother.
Katia posted: ‘If she is happy, it is because her son remembers her and not because of the value of the gift. Honor your father and your mother and your days on earth will be long.’
Cristiano’s mother has thrown her support behind her son throughout his professional career.
She was reduced to tears when Ronaldo dedicated a goal to her during Portugal’s 4-0 win over Switzerland in June 2022 as she watched on from the stands.
