Farmer Wants A Wife producers reportedly regret letting the cast use social media while on the show, after stars went ‘rogue’ and spoke out online.
An insider told this week’s Woman’s Day magazine producers’ remorse intensified after Farmer Bert Harris reached out to several of his matches post-show.
‘He initially reached out to Karli, Brooke and Caitlin through their Instagram [accounts] to make sure they were okay,’ – adding that for the very first time Channel Seven allowed the cast to use their social media whilst on the show.
‘Most of these shows you hand over the passwords and account details and networks don’t hand them back until after it airs,’ they added.
‘I think [producers] will revert to the old system next year as they have missed out on controlling the elements.’

Meanwhile, Farmer Todd’s love interest Daisy Lamb also went ‘rogue’ against the matchmaking series on social media, by revealing her shock view of the show.
The 28-year-old gym manager made the bold claim that her and Farmer Todd’s budding romance was edited in a ‘BS’ manner in an attempt to discredit her.
‘It’s so heavily edited. This was not the conversation, so disappointed in Seven for even publicising this BS,’ Daisy commented on an Instagram clip posted by the network.

‘Disappointed. That’s all I can say. Just completely sick that not only myself, but friends and family of Todd have been portrayed as something we are not.’
Lamb also publicly lashed out at several of her romantic rivals and accused them of not liking Farmer Todd for the right reasons.
‘The fact that the girls refer to it as a “game” and a “competition” should shine light on what they were there for,’ she began.
‘Todd isn’t a prize for someone to win, he wanted to find love. Jacinta and I are not friends. I would never drag someone for personal gain.’

The latest series of Farmer Wants A Wife has been marked by contestants fighting amongst each other, with Daisy’s rival Jacinta calling her out on camera, accusing her of ‘love-bombing’ Farmer Todd.
‘She’s quite possessive of him. Todd may see Daisy in a different light when he’s with her. He hasn’t got the full story. He deserves to know the truth,’ Jacinta said.
Daisy’s shock claims may have left Channel Seven producers reeling, and last week she also took to social media to launch an extraordinary attack against the show.
