KATIE Price has enlisted her children Junior and Princess Andre to film scenes for an upcoming three-part TV documentary, The Sun can exclusively reveal.
It was previously announced that Katie, 47, was working on a three-part series for Sky, made by Louis Theroux’s production company.
Now, sources tell us Princess, 18, and 20-year-old Junior are in advanced talks to film – despite Katie being banned from appearing in her daughter’s ITV2 show; The Princess Diaries.
A source said: “Princess and Junior really want to support their mum and film for the show, and Katie wants them in it too.
“They have planned to film some scenes in the New Year. It’s not all 100% finalised but it’s very likely to go ahead.
“They are an integral part of Katie’s life and story, and they love their mum and are really proud of her.”
The source added: “It was unfortunate that Katie wasn’t included in Princess’s reality show, and everyone saw the fallout that caused, but all of that was beyond Princess’s control and not her decision.
“The second season of her Princess Diaries is now moving forward without Peter and Emily in it either to avoid any more drama, but that won’t stop Princess supporting her mum by appearing in her show.”
The Sun has approached reps for comment.
Back in August, The Sun revealed that Katie had landed her own documentary.
At the time, a source said: “This will very much be a nostalgic trip back to the wild celeb days of the Nineties and Noughties when the artist formerly known as Jordan burst onto the scene.
“But first and foremost it is an autobiographical show, and one which is likely to be seen as the most authentic version of her story.
“It will also be a hugely credible autobiography because it’s made by Louis Theroux’s production company, Mindhouse, though Louis probably won’t be fronting it himself.”
Clearly the star quality runs in the family, as Princess fronted her own ITV2 show earlier this year, The Princess Diaries, which was a massive hit and has been renewed for two more seasons.
However, it caused internal uproar when Katie claimed she wasn’t allowed to be in the show, due to it being organised by Princess’s management team, who also manage her dad Peter.
What we know about Katie’s doc so far
We revealed in August that Katie Price’s new documentary was set to go ahead, but what do we know so far?
What is it about?
The documentary is expected to be a nostalgic trip down memory lane, and is likely to include previously unseen archive photos and video footage.
It will detail Katie’s rollercoaster life and will likely to coincide with the 30th anniversary of her finding fame as one of The Sun’s Page 3 girls in 1996.
Who’s involved?
With Princess and Junior both in advanced talks to film scenes for the show, they won’t be only recognisable faces.
In fact, all three ex-husbands of Katie Price have been approached to be part of Sky’s in-depth documentary of her life.
While Peter Andre will probably decline the invitation, Kieran Hayler and Alex Reid are likely to accept, despite initially being against it.
A TV insider said: “The feeling was that if they couldn’t stop the documentary happening they could at least influence it by appearing and giving their version of events — as Katie will unquestionably deliver hers.
How long will it be?
The series has been commissioned as a three-parter, and isn’t expected to be extended.
When is the release date?
A release date is yet to be shared for the docuseries.
Peter and his wife Emily did appear in the show, alongside Junior.
But now, it has been confirmed that the couple are staying out of the upcoming seasons to avoid drama with Katie.
Sources explained that the row between Katie and Peter “overshadowed” Princess’s big TV debut, something they want to avoid going forward.
