Paloma Faith has revealed she has cried durign an orgasm ‘quite a lot’.
The singer, 44, who is currently pregnant with her third child, had a very candid chat about her sex life with her friend Alan Carr on her Mad, Sad & Bad podcast.
Paloma wanted to educate Alan on ‘how the female body works’ and told him how she has been brought to tears during the throes of pleasure.Â
‘I have cried on orgasm quite a lot of times. I cry because I’ve unlocked something that maybe I was holding onto like a sadness or something,’ she said.
‘And the sadness came out of your vagina?’ Alan asked.Â
Laughing, Paloma replied: ‘I think women can have two types of orgasms but that’s for another podcast. It’s like an out of body experience. Are you jealous?’

‘You get two for the price of one. Aren’t you lucky, you women? And you get an extra five years of life,’ Alan said.Â
‘Well we’re not always lucky because sometimes we get none!’ Paloma said.
‘That was a sweeping generalisation. All women are so lucky!’ Alan said.Â

The couple have been dating for over a year, following her ‘devastating’ split from long term partner Leyman Lahcine.
Paloma married the French artist, 37, with whom she shares two young daughters, in 2017, before confirming they had parted ways in 2022 after nine years, leaving the hitmaker suffering a nervous breakdown.Â
She then went public with Stevie in March this year as they put on a loved-up display at the Sony Music BRITs afterparty.Â
A source said at the time: ‘Paloma and Stevie are absolutely head over heels for each other but she’s been telling people it also feels like her healthiest relationship ever.

‘He’s 6ft6 and she loves how he towers over her.
They told The Sun: ‘It’s sexy and exciting but he’s also very in touch with his feelings and a great communicator. It’s like they are kindred spirits and they’re in it for the long term.’
Paloma first opened up about her new boyfriend after Vogue Williams confronted her for calling Spencer Matthews ‘posh’.
The hilarious exchange happened on the singer’s Mad, Sad and Bad podcast when she asked the model, 40, what attracted her to ‘the multimillionaire hunk’.Â
Vogue then revealed that her husband Spencer, 37, told her that Paloma ‘kept slagging him for being posh.’Â
Paloma said: ‘Yeah, but I’ve now got a posh boyfriend. Now I’m dating one – I’m sleeping with the enemy.’Â
The singer, who has spoken candidly about her working-class upbringing in Hackney, London, then apologised to listeners about her choice of lover.Â
She joked: ‘I’m thinking of it more like a social experiment.’Â

Paloma has also revealed that her new love has made her finally consider marriage after previously always being totally against it.
She has told for the first time how serious her relationship has become with her new man, as she revealed they had been dating for nearly a year.
Speaking on Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo’s Newly Weds podcast in March, Paloma said: ‘This is a strange thing.
‘I wasn’t married to my kids’ dad and I’ve always been someone that’s very anti-marriage, because the history of it is that it’s about ownership of women and I’m the child of a feminist.
‘Weirdly, I don’t know what’s changed in me, but this guy gives me a bit like “Oh well”‘.
She continued: ‘I remember when I met him I was like “I’m never going to get married, don’t ever ask me”.
‘And then over time now I’m like “Yeah I don’t know, I’ll keep an open mind.” I can just feel myself softening.
‘If my mum hears this she’ll be like “What the hell is going on with you? Is it a mid-life crisis?'”
‘I do think having kids with someone is stronger than marriage from experience.’
However Paloma insisted she would only marry her financial equal and would want to ensure her assets were carefully protected.
She explained: ‘I also think I wouldn’t really want to get married to somebody unless I could genuinely think it was properly forever and it was equal and balanced, and I didn’t have that in my (former) relationship.
‘I felt I had too much to lose to him if it didn’t work out. Just like financially.
‘I would have given up my kids’ inheritance. I just was like ‘I’ve got to protect what’s mine and what’s my kids’. If I ever did do it, I would have a prenup’.
