Jesy Nelson has asked her loyal fans for some advice after undergoing surgery to save her unborn twins.

The former Little Mix songstress, 33, shared an update from her hospital bed on Saturday night as she posted a TikTok video asking for suggestions on what colour to dye her hair.

Jesy and her boyfriend Zion Foster, 26, continue to fight to save their unborn twins after she was admitted to hospital in late March.

The singer was diagnosed with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS) – a rare condition that can put one or both babies at risk.

In a new update, she explained she has been debating what colour to dye her hair when she gives birth.

Speaking to her fans, she said: ‘When I first come out of hospital, one of the first things I wanna do is dye my barnet.

‘First of all because… [makes grunting noise] get your greys out for the lads!’

Jesy continued: ‘Second of all, I feel like I’ve been this colour for like, quite a while now. I don’t feel like it’s ginger anymore, it’s just like a washed out auburn.

‘So Zion wants me to go like a browny-blonde. And I just don’t know. I don’t know what suits me, so I want your advice. What like hair colour do you actually love on me best? I can’t decide.’

Some people in the comments were begging her to keep the auburn, whilst others were keen on a shade of blonde.

In March, Jesy had to undergo an emergency procedure due to complications and has been advised to remain in hospital until she reaches a certain number of weeks in her pregnancy, as there are concerns she could go into early labour.

If left untreated, the condition can cause issue for her unborn babies, including growth problems and organ failure. In some cases, it can prove fatal. 

The Boyz hitmaker is seven months along into her pregnancy so far, with medics ideally wanting her to reach at least 32 weeks before the babies are born.

Despite not being able to leave the hospital, which Zion said is ‘driving them crazy’, Jesy is managing to keep up with her regular beauty treatments.

Jesy and Zion have been dating since January 2022 and often share images and videos of each other on social media

The singer took to her Instagram Story on Thursday to share that she’s had her lashes done from the room.

Jesy was glowing as she posted a stunning selfie and clip from her room to show off her glamorous new lashes.

She wrote: ‘So the lovely @lashesbyhols came and did my lashes yesterday and I can honestly say I’m obsessed.

‘She put brown lashes on me which I’ve never had before and switched up my shape a little and I absolutely love them, don’t think I’ll be going back to black now.’

It comes after Zion shared that he and Jesy are getting a bit home sick after weeks of being surrounded by the same four walls.

He told OK! Magazine: ‘The same four walls are driving us a bit crazy.’

Throughout the worrying ordeal, Zion admitted he and Jesy have ‘grown to understand each other on a deeper level’.

He added: ‘I think it’s at these times when you really, really know what love you have and what your relationship means. And I think for me and Jess, this has just taken it to a whole other level of us knowing we are literally made for each other.’
