Post Malone has dismissed the Bud Light controversy involving Dylan Mulvaney as he boldly drank the notorious beverage during his latest interview.
The 27-year-old heavily-tattooed rapper – who has had a Bud Light partnership for years – did not seem too concerned about alienating fans in his latest Esquire cover piece.
The Sunflower hitmaker – born Austin Richard Post – drank Bud Light during the magazine interview when he was asked what his take on the controversy surrounding the popular beer was.
He said: ‘There is no comfort in this world so I’m gonna do the small things that make me comfortable. I’m gonna drink the f***ing beer!’
Earlier this year there was a boycott of Bud Light after trans actress and TikTok personality Dylan Mulvaney promoted the alcoholic beverage.

It had triggered backlash from American conservatives who heled instigate the boycott as they felt the sponsorship was too ‘political’ as Mulvaney had advocated for transgender rights.
The backlash caused Bud Light’s parent company, Anheuser-Busch, to lose $400million in sales – as their total US revenue dropped 10.5 percent compared with the year before.
Post has had a longtime relationship with the beer company as he began as one of their key influencers in 2018.
In 2019, the rapper even had his face on a can of Bud Light which is a collector’s item amongst his millions of fans.
The popular rapper is such a big fan of drinking that he even includes it in what his life goal is.
He explained: ‘If you’re just with your boys, and you’re like, “Let’s have a couple beers, let’s do a couple mushrooms,” and you put the night vision on, and then you just f***ing look up, you’re like, “Oh my God. It’s amazing. Next level.”
‘The goal is to be a kid, man. As long as you can.’
Speaking of kids, Post revealed that he had welcomed a daughter with his fiancee in 2022.

Malone has tried to keep his personal life out of the public’s eye, so he has not yet confirmed the identity of his wife-to-be, although he’s been rumored to be dating Korean rapper MLMA, which stands for MeLoveMeALot.
One person in Post’s life who has been public is his father Rich Post who the rapper claims to be his biggest fan.
He told Esquire: ‘He’s been my biggest fan forever, even when I was doing sh**ty Metallica covers, just singing in my room with my earphones full blast and he could just hear me yelling.’
His father Rich is proud of his son and loves his famous child’s fans so much that he even has his own nickname for them.

Rich told Esquire: ‘Austin calls them Postmates, and that’s pretty good, but I call them Post-Malonials. It hasn’t caught on, but I love that one.’
The rapper has rabid fans who feel connected to him as he has always been authentically himself.
He explained: ‘I’m just Austin, and that’s like the coolest job to me. A long time ago, that wasn’t a cool job and I wanted to be someone else. And then one day, I was just like, ‘You know what? I’m going to try and do something different and just kind of put my own spin on sh*t.’ I’m happy now, and I’m so grateful, and I’m just doing the best I can.’
