A MAJOR popstar was mocked by his fans this week as they watched him take seven minutes to parallel park his car in New York City.
The funny incident has been doing the rounds on social media after one fan filmed the singer attempting to get his car neatly placed outside of a busy restaurant.
The culprit was Joe Jonas, who has playfully responded to his fans mocking the moment.
Joe was seen maneuvering his Mercedes-Benz G 550 backwards and forwards several times before finally slotting into the space, after a seven minute battle.
Filming the moment through the window of a nearby restaurant, a TikTok user then posted it with the caption: “I love New York because I’ve been watching Joe Jonas parallel park for the last 7 minutes”.
They played his Jonas Brothers song Burnin’ Up over the clip, which garnered three million likes and over 12 million views.
Several fans took to the comment section, including one who realised they were also there at the time.
They wrote: “Not me finding out on tik tok that the guy I was also watching parallel park for like 5 minutes was joe jonas.”
Joe himself even came across the video as he commented: “And I saw you watch and not help once”.
Other users also shared videos of Joe in the street after the parking debacle as they playfully mocked him.
Joe has garnered worldwide fame alongside his brothers, Kevin and Nick, in the Jonas brothers.
However, the pop star is so humble that he’s often spotted in the wild by fans.
In September, he was spotted walking through London by a fan who shared a video of the unassuming star.
Joe split from his wife of four years Sophie Turner in September 2023, with sources claiming at the time that he had a “huge argument” with the Game Of Thrones star which led to their split.
The former couple share two daughters; Willa, five, and three-year-old Delphine.
They said in a joint statement following their split: “After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage.
“There are many speculative narratives as to why, but truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”
