She continued: ‘I’ve really truly missed you.’

Earlier this month, Pip broke her silence after she and her friend were left trapped under a van and surrounded by two gunmen during the Bondi Beach terror attack.

She provided a heart-racing account of hiding beneath a van as one of the shooters paced nearby.

After 15 terrifying minutes, her former flame Chris Woods broke through barricades to find her, shield her and get her out.

The deadly attack at Australia’s most iconic tourist destination unfolded on December 14 as hundreds gathered to attend the Chanukah by the Sea event, marking the first day of Hanukkah.

Two heavily armed men, allegedly Naveed Akram, 24, and his father, Sajid Akram, 50, stood on a pedestrian footbridge and opened fire with military-grade weapons into the crowds of locals, holidaymakers and families.

So far 16 people have died, including alleged gunman Sajid Akram, while a further 42 people, including four children, were taken to hospital.

Police confirmed 14 people had died at the scene, while two others died overnight in hospital, with the victims ranging in age between 10 and 87 years old.

Pip addressed her harrowing 15-minute ordeal in a lengthy Instagram post.

She described the attack as a ‘crazy, wild, and unnecessarily brutal’ act that unfolded ‘among innocent people enjoying a glorious Bondi summer’s day.’

Edwards said she and her girlfriend Jess were leaving the beach and heading home when the shooting began, with the gunmen opening fire just metres behind them.

The pair were forced to take cover under one van as the gunmen circled above them.

She said the ordeal lasted around 15 minutes, during which time they were frozen with fear and struggled to breathe.

‘The shots kept firing and we rolled from side to side under the van to hide behind the wheels, as the gunmen’s feet walked around us, trying not to be seen,’ she wrote.

Pip said surrounding cars, including the van they were hiding under, were being struck by bullets as the gunmen ‘shot at everything and everyone’.

‘I was convulsing with fear, trapped, thinking this was it for us, just monitoring the movement of their feet,’ she said.

She credited a civilian nearby for intervening, yelling out and distracting the gunmen, pulling them away from her hiding spot.

When the gunfire finally stopped, Pip said her friend Chris managed to reach them and pull them out from beneath the van.

‘When the deafening gunshots finally stopped, our friend Chris broke through all the barriers to come find us, save us, and extract us from under the van,’ she wrote.
