It comes after Pink left Gen Z completely shocked as they have only just discovered that the global megastar isn’t actually Australian.
The American singer, 44, has a huge fanbase Down Under and has broken records for concert and album sales in the country amid her massive popularity.
Pink, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore, has spoken about how she considers Australia to be her ‘second home’ and has even ‘looked into’ getting citizenship.

However, Generation Z (those born 1997 – 2012) fans are only just discovering that Pink isn’t actually Australian, after she has been seen mixing with locals and making low-key outings during her latest tour Down Under.
TikTok user Bec Hardgrave sparked a huge debate when she described Pink as ‘an Australian trapped in an American’s life’, prompting many users to share their shock that the star was born and raised in the US.
In a video shared to the social media platform, Bec insisted Pink is an Aussie at heart, telling viewers: ‘Pink to me is Australian, I know she’s not, I know she has an American accent, but I feel like she’s an Australian trapped in an American’s life.
‘Whenever I see her doing anything, her mannerisms, everything about her screams Aussie to me. Like she’s giving Aussie.’
