Bernadette Sukkar (née Fahey) has shared a heartbreaking detail about her luxury life, as she explained she has a deep connection to death.
The Pilates queen, 35, who is known for her wellness business Body by Berner, revealed on Friday her father died two weeks before she was born.
She penned an article for Financial Review, explaining he passed of lung cancer while her mother was pregnant with her.
‘My father passed away two weeks before I was born, so death has always been something I’ve been deeply aware of,’ she wrote.
‘My father had a stethoscope that I used to love playing with.
‘Looking back now, it’s interesting that I was drawn to it, especially since he ultimately passed away from lung cancer. It feels like a poignant connection.’

In the article, Bernadette explained she would like to be cremated when she dies, and have her ashes spread in the ocean.
She went on to write she hopes her family remember her ‘as someone who brought love and light to others’.
