Pierce Brosnan was in good company on Thursday while filming his latest scenes on the set of gritty Amazon Prime drama MobLand.

The actor, 72, was back at work on a wet and windy London street as director Guy Ritchie shot an exterior sequence for the forthcoming second season of his hit show.

Brosnan, who plays Irish gangster Conrad Harrigan, was joined by producer son Dylan as he chatted with the filmmaker during a break between takes.

Dylan, the elder of his two children with wife Keely Shaye Smith, quietly observed the action from the opposite side of the street while his father filmed his scenes alongside a gleaming blue Bentley.

The 28-year old’s archival production credits include action features The Unholy Trinity – which also stars his father – Out of Reach and HBO documentary The Synanon Fix.

Additionally, he’s enjoyed varying degrees of success a male model after being signed by designer Hedi Slimane for a Saint Laurent fashion campaign in 2014.

On Sunday evening, Dylan was alongside his father as the former James Bond star reunited with estranged son Christopher, from his first marriage to the late Cassandra Harris, at an upmarket restaurant in the English capital.

Brosnan appeared to be building bridges with the 52-year old after years of estrangement brought about by his son’s crippling addiction to cocaine and heroin

Of their meeting, a source told The Mirror: ‘They both looked happy and relaxed while sitting down with one of Brosnan’s other sons Dylan.

‘Pierce and Christopher’s problems have been well documented. But it seems they’ve managed to put them behind them. It was really nice to see them together.’

Speaking in 2005, Brosnan admitted his eldest son’s spiralling addiction to Class-A drugs had prompted him to cut all ties.

‘Christopher is still very lost,’ he told Playboy. ‘Shockingly so. I know where he is, but he’s having a hard life.

‘I can only have strong faith and believe he will recover. He has tested everybody in this family but none more so than himself. He knows how to get out. He doesn’t want to.’

He added: ‘It’s painful because you shut down. You never completely cut them off, but I have cut Christopher off. I had to say, “Go. Get busy living, or get busy dying”. He has my prayers.’

Christopher is the biological son of Brosnan’s late first wife, Australian actress Cassandra Harris, and her ex-husband Dermot.

The actor adopted both Christopher and his late sister Charlotte when their birth father died in 1986 while he was married to Cassandra.

Charlotte tragically died from ovarian cancer – the same illness that took the life of her mother – in 2013 at the age of just 41.

Christopher worked on two of his father’s Bond films as an assistant director, including 1999 blockbuster The World Is Not Enough.

Brosnan met second wife Keely Shaye Smith in 1994. The couple exchanged vows seven years later at Ballintubber Abbey in County Mayo, Ireland.

The actor appeared to reach out to Chris in a Father’s Day post back in June 2022.

He wrote: ‘My love forever to you dear sons, Paris, Dylan, Sean and Christopher, thank you deeply for your love on this Father’s Day.’

In 1997, Christopher was jailed for three months for drink-driving after being fined £1,000 for the same offence the year earlier.

He was also involved in a massive brawl at Browns nightclub in London and was later banned from the venue.

There was a separate arrest for theft at popular nightspot Chinawhite, but the charges were later dropped.
