Peter Andre has announced he is leaving his dual role of Vince Fontaine and Teen Angel in Grease as the West End musical closes next month.
The singer, 50, admitted he was saddened by the news after performing with the cast at London’s Dominion Theatre for the last two months.
However Peter made sure to pay tribute to his ‘mischief making’ co-star Jason Donovan, 55, with whom he shares the tole of Teen Angel.
He told New! Magazine: ‘Grease The Musical, the West End show I’ve been in over the last few months, will sadly be coming to an end soon’.
‘The crew are just fantastic and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it, especially working so closely with my good friend Jason Donovan.

Before adding: ‘The cast are outstanding and we’re always causing mischief behind the scenes. None more than Jason though. He is the mischief king!’
The news comes after Peter revealed what his daughter Princess has wanted to change about her appearance, after she sweetly asked him for permission first.
The daughter of the singer and glamour model Katie Price, 16, has garnered a large social media following, and recently landed a modelling deal with PrettyLittleThing.
And opening up on her recent change, Peter revealed his daughter wanted to add bleached blonde highlights to her waist-length locks.
Writing in his OK! column, Peter said: ‘Having a teenage son or daughter can mean dealing with ever-changing wants, needs and transformations, Princess’ most recent being her bleached blonde highlights.
‘She sweetly sent me a message asking if it was ok to get it done.

‘I replied, “Sweetie, you’re 16, not 12.” I care about their health, safety, education etc. I don’t want to sweat the small stuff,’ he said.
‘She’s a good, gentle soul. I remember dyeing my hair blue-black when I was younger because I wanted it to look like Elvis. I looked more like pelvis.’
Posting to her Instagram last month, Princess debuted her new look and captioned her post ‘barbie girlll’.
It comes after Princess revealed what she plans to do for a career after sharing she ‘didn’t pass all’ of her GCSE exams.
Princess live-streamed herself finding out that she had passed three out of seven of her GCSEs last month.

Now, Princess has taken to her Instagram Stories to share what she is planning to do now she has left school, admitting she is ‘excited’ about her next steps.
In a Q&A, Princess told how she plans to do social media and beauty training.
When asked what her plans are, she replied: ‘I’ll be doing social media and private beauty training xx sooooo excited.’
Elsewhere in the ‘ask me anything’ Q&A, Princess was also asked if she was going to ‘get anything done’ when she turned 18 years old in two years time.
To which Princess replied: ‘Surgery wise no, I would stay natural x.’
She has previously told how she doesn’t see herself going down the same cosmetic procedure route as her former glamour model mother Katie when she is older.
