MailOnline has contacted Pete’s representatives for comment.

It comes after Pete’s best friend Sam Thompson revealed that they received a telling off from the police after they caused a scene during their Staying Relevant UK tour.

The Made In Chelsea star exclusively told MailOnline that as they passed through Nottingham in their tour bus, which featured giant avatars of the TV stars, they were reported to the police for ‘creating a disturbance’.

As the pair headed to a venue in the north of the country during their podcast tour, their fans got wind of their plans to pass through the city on the bus.

Sam revealed that as they approached the city, their fans were going ‘wild’ as they anticipated their arrival, waving and honking their horns as they passed.

Sam said they were told by police they could not have masses of people reacting in this way.

During their tour Sam and Pete took to Instagram to share clips of their fans cheering in excitement as they passed through different cities during their tour.

In Sam’s typical happy-go-lucky stride, he admitted that he found the whole debacle ‘hilarious’ and that he only found out about the police report on Friday – weeks after the tour ended.

While promoting his recent project with Flora Plant, he told MailOnline: ‘We’ve only just been told today… we got reported by the Nottingham Police for the tour bus.

‘Apparently, we created a disturbance on the roads, and basically, they were like, we can’t have people honking their horns at you all the time because we had our faces plastered all over the tour bus.

‘And, and so because as we were coming through Nottingham, there were literally so many cars beeping us and passengers were filming us and stuff like that.

‘The drivers were beeping their horns to the point where the police in Nottingham got in touch and we were like, guys, we can’t have you driving through Nottingham like this.

‘You’re creating disturbance on the roads, which I found absolutely hilarious.

‘So we actually had to circumnavigate Nottingham. Oh, my God. I think it’s far.

‘I mean, neither were we. In a funny way, we were all like we were like, yes, people know what we’re doing, in a safe manner, of course.

‘That was hilarious. So we had to circumnavigate and go a different way because it was going wild in Nottingham.’

MailOnline contacted Nottingham police for a comment.
