Pete Wicks Fuming Over Employee’s Love Island Prank

The Staying Relevant Podcast took to their Instagram account on Tuesday to share the hilarious moment Pete Wicks was pranked by one of his employees. 

The former TOWIE star, 37, who regularly hosts the podcast with his best pal Sam Thompson, 32, was completely unaware he was being filmed as his employee dropped a bombshell on him. 

At the beginning of the clip, she coyly told Pete that she had been having conversations with a Love Island producer to appear on the show, news which left him gob-smacked. 

Looking ‘nervously’ at Pete, she said: ‘So Pete, I actually do have another thing to tell you.’ 

Pete replied: ‘F*****g hell’ under his breath as he kept his head down making notes waiting for her to continue.

She added: ‘And I’m actually a little bit nervous for this… I’ve been in conversations with a Love Island producer, and they’ve asked me to fly out next Friday for the Sunday episode.’ 

Appearing lost for words, Pete replied: ‘You’re not going on Love Island’ as his employee Annalise confirmed: ‘Yeah, I am.’ 

Pete then fumed: ‘Oh f**k off Annalise’ as she replied: ‘No I am, I’ve been really nervous to tell you.’ 

Still raging, Pete added: ‘You alright in the f*****g head? Is this why you’ve been off so much in f*****g May? Cause you’ve been at auditions not f*****g off all over the f*****g Europe.’ 

Annalise cheekily replied: ‘No, no no no no I done it on my lunch break.’ 

Pete then changed his tune, saying: Hold on, do you actually really want to do this?’  and Annalise confirmed: ‘Yeah, I do.’ 

Pete then showed his soft side as he stood up to hug Annalise, saying: ‘Then I’m very happy for you. You take as much time as you need.’ 

The pair shared a sweet hug as Annalise replied: ‘Aw, I wasn’t expecting that.’

Pulling away to go back to his end of the desk, Pete replied: ‘Well no, I mean, it’s f*****g ridiculous.’ 

Annalise replied: ‘I mean it’s obviously not great timing, and it’s been a really tough decision.’ 

Pete then said: ‘Does that mean you’re leaving us?’ 

Confirming she won’t be leaving permanently, Annalise replied: ‘Yeah, so well next week, not permanently if you guys will obviously keep me.’ 

Pete said: ‘Well you’re not going to want to f*****g work here if you’ve done that.’ 

Denying that she would leave her job, she said: ‘No, I’ll still work here.’ 

Pete sweetly replied: ‘If you ever want to still work here then the job is yours. But that is f*****g ridiculous.’ 

Annalise said: ‘I’ve literally watched it since like series one, I’m obsessed, like I love it.’ 

Pete jokingly swiped: ‘I’ve watched crime documentaries since they were on Netflix, but I haven’t killed anyone yet.’ 

The room erupted into laughter as he added: ‘But you know I’m very happy for you if that’s what you really want and that’s what you then deserve, everyone will get behind you. We’ll all f*****g support you.’ 

‘I may even fly out, I’ll tell you what I’ll do, I’ll come out, do they have to meet the family and that?’ 

The room confirmed islanders get to see their family during their stint, and Pete sweetly said: ‘I’ll come and be your person.’ 

He added: ‘Is this serious?’ and Annalise cheekily smiled replying: ‘No’. 

Shaking his head and looking lost for words, Pete simply said: ‘F*****g c***s.’ 

The hilarious prank video comes after Pete cut a smart figure as he hosted a Dogs Trust fundraiser at the Kennel Club in London on Tuesday. 

The TV personality, who has been a Dogs Trust ambassador for many years, is involved in several initiatives to support the charity. 

He has also filmed series of ‘For Dogs Sake’ for the Dogs Trust, which has led to a significant increase in adoption applications. 

For the fundraiser, Pete looked incredibly suave in a navy blue pinstripe suit, consisting of a double-breasted blazer and matching trousers. 

He paired brown suede loafers with his smart ensemble as he smiled for the cameras during the event. 

During the event, Pete was also joined by a host of stars including his Strictly Come Dancing dance partner Jowita Przystal, 30. 

The pair sparked romance rumours last year during their stint on the show, however, they have both publicly denied any romantic relationship, clarifying that they are just good friends. 

Jowita looked sensational in a black-and-white mini dress which featured a plunging V-neckline as she beamed alongside Pete. 

To complete her look, the pro dancer added inches to her frame with a pair of black over-the-knee boots and further accessorised with a silver layered necklace. 

Also in attendance were Kirsty Gallacher, Charlotte Hawkins, Jay Bothroyd, and Jacquie Beltrao.
