And now Perrie Edwards has delighted fans once again with the release of her debut solo music video for the catchy hit. 

Filmed in Cape Town, the singer, 30, looked positively radiant in the video, which was directed by Jake Nava who has famously worked with both Beyoncé and Britney Spears. 

Set in a stunning villa, Perrie looked sensational as she filmed in an array of stylish ensembles while belting out the pop tune. 

Showing off her incredible physique, the star wowed in a long-sleeved red swimming costume while singing in the pool before the shot flipped to her on a tennis court in an elegant nude bralette and tulle skirt.

As Perrie sings: ‘I don’t want you ever to forget about us in the front seat/ Listenin’ to songs that made you think about me,’ several clips filmed on an old video recorder play, as if they were taken during the past relationship. 

Embracing her quirky sense of fashion, in another shot she sits in a mustard coloured pleated dress as she is swamped in the fabric around her. 

Capturing the beautiful scenery of Cape Town, the video ends with Perrie driving along the coast before she runs along the beach. 

Taking to Instagram to celebrate the premiere of her video, Perrie gushed: ‘Ohhhh my goodness!!! The official video for ‘Forget About Us’ is out now! 

‘Shooting this was one of the best experiences ever and I hope you love it’. 

And fans have gone wild for the video as they took to the comment section to express their love for the Little Mix star.

They wrote: ‘You f*****g killed it. I’m obsessed with the video and with you’; ‘A WHOLE BOP’; ‘From singing in a band from spreading your wings and looking at you now you have smashed it’.

However her biggest fan is her son Axel, who Perrie explained already ‘knows all the words’ to all of her songs at just age two.

Appearing on Capital Breakfast last week, host Sian Welby asked the star: ‘I wondered whether you played the songs to Axel, just for a bit of reaction?’

Perrie then explained that her son is her biggest fan, and even has his own nickname for her recording studio, ‘the la la room’. 

She said: ‘Yes, I play him everything. My studio is in the house so he calls it the ‘la la room’ and he’ll just let himself in mid takes, like I’m in my zone, and he’ll just come in.. ‘la la la la la’ and then he’s like, ‘not this one’. 

‘Like anytime I put a ballad on he’s like “not this.” And I’m like, “oh, you don’t want this ballad?” And he goes, “no, I want to dance”.

‘And I’m like, okay, so you want a more upbeat one, and he’s got his favourite, which I can’t name now. But he will be like “play, play” and as soon as it comes on, he like, goes for it. And he knows all the words to all the songs. It’s so cute!’

 Perrie also opened about life without Little Mix, as she confessed it ‘is weird and really bizarre’ to not have Jade Thirwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock by her side. 

‘Like I feel comfortable. But it is weird. Like, the whole thing is so bizarre. And I just in my mind, I don’t know. I’m like expecting to see the girls when I arrive. Even though I know that’s not gonna happen,’ admitted Perrie. 

‘I’m still subconsciously like, ‘Jade, Leigh-Anne…where are you?’ It’s really bizarre, but it is exciting. Like, it’s exciting that we’re all doing our thing and like loving each other doing our thing. 

‘And, you know, you never know what the future holds. And I just I do miss them a lot. So this is random for me.’
