Viewers have watched the main character Belly Conklin (Lola Tung) wrestle with her emotions for her fiancé Jeremiah Fisher (Gavin Casalegno) and his brother and her first love, Conrad (Christopher Briney) throughout the three series.
The eighth episode set the scene for Belly and Jeremiah’s wedding at the Cousins’ clubhouse, however this chapter of their story ended quite differently to expected as Jere called off the wedding after learning of Belly’s feelings for his sibling.
After Jere ended their relationship just moments before they were due to walk down the aisle, fans watched Belly arrive at the airport to board a flight to Paris, an opportunity she had previously given up for the wedding.
As Taylor Swift’s Cardigan played in the background – an artist typically linked to Belly and Conrad’s romance – she notices him sat across the departures lounge.
At this point, Conrad had no idea the wedding has been called off and was likely making his way back to California where he is studying medicine at Stanford.

Fans will have to wait another week for the ninth episode of the viral show to find out what happens when Conrad and Belly meet again, after he said goodbye to her while she was getting ready for her wedding.
He walked into her room hurt and apologetic and admitted being near her is painful and that he’ll leave. He kissed her on the forehead and says: ‘Being with you, loving you, it was all worth it.’
Following the emotional build up to the moment their eyes locked across the airport, fans admitted they were feeling overwhelmed after watching the episode.
Perrie, 32, said she had ‘cried so much her head hurts’ as she asked other fans if they had caught the new episode yet.

Reacting to the airport scene in particular, viewers admitted that it had them ‘on the edge of their seat’ as they clocked the impending reunion.
They said: ‘Omg how can that episode end like that? Cardigan playing and Belly in the airport and she sees poor Conrad all sad and depressed at the airport thinking he lost her’; ‘YOU’D COME BACK TO ME WHILE CONRAD IS AT THE AIRPORT.

The episode began with Belly listening to an apologetic voicemail from Jeremiah, while also listening to Conrad’s confession on a loop in her head.
While Conrad once again tries to deny that he loved her, after he is pushed by Belly on his feelings, he said: ‘I love you. I will never not love you’.

Jeremiah calls off the wedding after learning Belly still loves Conrad
Outwardly, Belly pushes Conrad away—telling him to stay away from the wedding. But inside, she thinks: ‘I will never be able to completely let him go.’
Belly and Jere have there rehearsal dinner but it is a tense evening, with the groom thanking his brother for his ‘loyalty’. During the meal it is also revealed that Jere has accepted a job from his father without consulting Belly.
Later in the evening, Belly confessed what Conrad had told her but Jeremiah appears convinced that she feels the same way about his brother.
The following morning after Belly and Jere spend the night together she wakes to find that he has gone missing.
Conrad finds Jeremiah hiding in their mother’s garden. In a heated exchange, Jeremiah punches Conrad, disturbed by his brother’s feelings and accusations.
Both the bride and groom are given letters from Susannah, Jere’s late mother, but in a surprise twist he actually receives one meant for Conrad – which talks about how deeply he was loved by Belly.
This leads to Conrad finding Belly and once again confessing his feelings before the events mentioned above unfold.
