's furious family have branded a 'mafia chef' who has 'abused his power, fame and money to cut them off'.

Olympian Adam, 31, tied the knot with Gordon and Tana's daughter Holly, 26, at Bath Abbey in December amid a bitter feud which saw his mother, 60, disinvited and sister Bethany the only relative in attendance.

As the bitter feud between the two families rumbles on, a source close to Adam's mother Caroline claims the Ramsays didn't want them in the family because they 'weren't good or marketable enough'.

Caroline is also said to be 'saddened' by a magazine interview Tana gave this week to help promote their new  documentary, Being Gordon Ramsay - which Adam's family feature in.

A relative told the Daily Mail: 'Gordon is using a dispute to flog a documentary. He's using his position of power, fame and money to call our family out. There is a clear inequality and abuse of that position.

'Who does he think he is? The Mafia Chef. There is an imbalance of power. They are using their fame, their platform, their money to hurt us.

'They achieved what they set out to do. Why can't they just leave us alone.

'They have broken our family.'

In the Netflix documentary the Ramsays and Peatys are shown seemingly united at Holly and Adam's engagement party.

Tana has fuelled the fire by telling Grazia magazine she had shared an important conversation with Caroline.

She said: 'I remember saying to Adam's mum when I met her, 'My God, you've got the most amazing son. I couldn't think of anyone that is more perfect for Holly, who's incredibly emotional, incredibly vulnerable in areas'.

'She's funny, brilliant and witty but she also needs keeping in line. Adam manages to do all those things. He's been through a lot. She's been through a lot.

'I remember saying to his mum that, in my mind, he's perfect for our daughter.'

Tana added: 'I was incredibly happy to meet her and tell her that.'

The Peaty source revealed: 'There has been no direct or indirect contact between the Ramsays and our family from the time of the engagement party.

'Prior to the party there was a FaceTime call when the engagement was announced. All texts Caroline sent Mrs Ramsay were unanswered.

'We all opened our hearts and homes to Holly but the truth is Holly didn't want us. The Ramsay's didn't want us. For Holly we were not good enough or marketable.'

They added: 'How could Holly's own mum describe her like that - 'she needs keeping in line' like some disobedient dog.

'The Ramsays never visited our family or made any attempt to even get to know us, not even Adam's so called beloved Olympic nan who, he now ignores.'

In an interview to promote his documentary Gordon instead his family had 'done nothing wrong' and had welcomed Adam's parents in the past and 'treated them like royalty' and that 'nothing inappropriate' was said to Caroline and the fallout with their son was 'self inflicted.'

The chef claimed he sent a car to the Midlands to pick up Caroline and husband Mark for the engagement party but the insider said it was Adam who provided the vehicle.

The source said: 'Gordon said "We treated them like royalty. We sent a car to Nottingham".

'Who does he think he is? The Mafia Chef. There is an imbalance of power. They are using their fame, their platform, their money to hurt us', a source of the Peaty family said

Gordon hinted that the hoped the Ramsay-Peaty family rift would end, saying: 'I would like to go up to Nottingham with Tana and draw a line in the sand' (Peaty and Ramsays at their engagement party)

'We don't live in Nottingham so you obviously never asked Adam about it. But it wouldn't look good us turning up in a Uber for his documentary.'

The Peaty source said that Gordon, who recently made public his feelings on Brooklyn Beckham's estrangement with his parents, David and Victoria - the Ramsays close friends and celebrity wedding guests - 'has some nerve to lecture Brooklyn!'

The added: 'He should take his own advise and practice what he preaches. He needs to look deep into himself to look where his guilt really lies.

But the family insider told the Daily Mail: 'How can a conversation ever draw a line when Caroline was forced to miss the wedding of her own son?

'Just because he thought Adam's working class family would lower the tone. But our family has carried on. We are still living, laughing and loving without you.

'We know the true meaning and value of family.'

Caroline, 60, from Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, took to social media to make some pointed remarks after granting the Daily Mail her only exclusive interview last autumn.

She questioned why her 'loving and positive' engagement speech to her son and Holly was cut from Gordon's new documentary.

Adam's cousin Krystal shared a picture of her TV as she watched the engagement party scene, writing: 'I was here in person, guess I didn't make it on Netflix for my minute of fame. How will I sleep at night?'

Caroline replied to the post, and hinted she won't be watching, asking: 'Did they film my speech Krystal? I bet they didn't because it was 100% full of love and positivity x.'

'I haven't watched it all to be honest but no I haven't see you and you look blurred out xx,' Krystal added.
