Paul Hollywood was transformed into a superhero on Tuesday as he filmed in London for a new TV advert for Compare The Market.
The Great British Bake Off star, 58, sported a full superhero suit, before being hoisted up into the air.
He was seen on the set of the commercial in his costume, resembling a character out of the Marvel or DC Universe.
Paul wore a red breastplate, complete with a fake sixpack and light-up Iron Man-esque symbol, as well as structured shoulder pads and a utility belt.
He also donned blue shinpads, boots and plastic thrusters on his arms, completing the look with a long blue cape.

He was soon attached to a wire and pulled into the air by a crane to film a classic Superman flying scene.
However, Paul appeared to be having trouble engaging his superpowers as he struggled to strike a dramatic pose while midair.
The star was seen flailing around with his arm and legs akimbo before managing to gain his balance.
In between takes, Paul was surrounded by a large crew, with several members coming up to adjust his costume and touch up his makeup.
At one point he was surrounded by dry ice, while cameras captured the dramatic-seeming scene.
Compare the Market is best known for their playful Compare the Meerkat advert campaign featuring anthropomorphic Russian meerkats, Aleksandr Orlov and his sidekick Sergei Vladamanov.
A director’s chair was spotted on the set branded with Aleksandr’s name next to a cardboard cutout of the beloved character.
Paul arrived on the set in his regular civilian clothing, wearing blue jeans and a padded black coat.

Wardrobe assistants were seen helping him get into his alter ego costume, and making sure his battery pack was secured in place.
It was reported last week that Paul has struck a six-figure deal to star in the TV adverts for the company.
He is in good company as the likes of Nicole Kidman, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Macaulay Culkin have all appeared in the ads before.
Paul will use his surname as a pun to promote the company’s 2-4-1 cinema tickets offer in the site’s latest campaign.
A source told The Sun: ‘This is particularly surprising given that the Bake Off judge very rarely lends his name to anything or takes part in campaigns.
‘But the meerkat ads are well-liked and he thought the way they were going to use him was funny and clever.
‘And Paul is an international star worthy of an international campaign because Bake Off has made him a famous face around the world.’
His superhero get-up is a far cry from the dapper appearance he made last Wednesday, when he was awarded an MBE at Windsor Castle.

Paul was honoured for his services to baking and broadcasting and received his award from the Princess Royal.
He was joined by family members including his mother Gill and said he would love for the Prince and Princess of Wales to appear on Bake Off.
Speaking after the ceremony, Paul said being made an MBE had left him feeling ‘very proud’, but he wished his nan had been alive to witness it.
He explained: ‘I was over the moon. When I (first found out) I told my mum and she was silent on the phone, which is quite unusual for my mum.
‘I wish my nan had seen it. She was very fond of the royal family, as we all are. But specifically she would’ve been over the moon. But my mum was here today so she was loving it.’
When asked which royal he would pick to compete in the Bake Off tent, Paul said: ‘I think I’d go for Kate and Will – they’d be more than welcome!’
He later spoke of Princess Anne, who presided over the ceremony, and said that he had previously met her before at Buckingham Palace.
He said: ‘I’ve always been fond of the Princess Royal. I met her a few years ago at Buckingham Palace when the (then) Duke of Edinburgh wasn’t very well.

When asked if the Royal Family were fans of the show, Paul confessed they were ‘fully aware of (it), yes’
‘We were all with members of the Royal Family and I just happened to be there with Princess Anne. So to see her again today was fantastic.
‘She did say “baking is so integral to the DNA of us all. We love the smell”. And I said “absolutely, I grew up with the smell”.
‘I think she’s particularly fond of Chelsea buns. I promised her some, so I put myself on the spot there.’
