Paul Giamatti rocked a unique pair of cufflinks as his good luck charm at the star-studded 2024 Oscars.
The Holdovers star, 56, paid homage to the viral In-N-Out moment he created nearly two months ago, when he was seen enjoying a burger at the fast food chain right after his Golden Globes victory.
And on Sunday, he decided to add some flair to his classic black tuxedo with a pair of red, yellow and white cufflinks featuring the In-N-Out logo.
The funky accessory was visible in two snaps shared by his stylist Michael Fisher on Instagram. The actor happily held up his tuxedo sleeve as he showed off the final touch on his outfit, custom made by Cufflinks Depot.
Unfortunately it didn’t help him win in the Best Actor category, with the golden statue ultimately going to Oppenheimer’s Cillian Murphy.

Giamatti also honored his character from the Holdovers, Paul Hunham, with a quote embroidered onto his white pocket handkerchief that read: ‘See Ya! – P.H.’
Giamatti’s viral moment at In-N-Out took place in January, after he enjoyed a very casual celebration following his Golden Globes win.
The actor skipped the glitzy afterparties and instead drove to fast-food restaurant In-N-Out in Westwood, California, for a burger and fries.
Giamatti, who won an award for Best Actor in a Comedy for the role, was still dressed to the nines in his black tuxedo as he enjoyed his meal.
His Golden Globe trophy was visible on the table beside him, amid an order of burger and fries.
He even received applause from the other patrons upon arrival, as per Page Six.
He enjoyed the meal in the company of his girlfriend, Clara Wong, as well as his manager, his publicist and his agent, according to the publication.
‘They went for a celebratory meal… he’s a big In-N-Out fan, and was a great way to celebrate before the parties,’ a source close to the actor revealed.

Giamatti did not take home the lead actor Oscar on Sunday night — with the honor going to Oppenheimer’s Cillian Murphy. However his co-star Da’Vine Joy Randolph won for supporting actress; the pair seen inside the ceremony
‘People clapped when he came in… it was near UCLA, so there were a lot of college kids,’ the insider added.
The crowd, ‘respectfully waited till he was done eating, and then asked him for pictures.’
Giamatti and friends reportedly ordered six classic ‘double-doubles’ – a cheeseburger consisting of two beef patties, two slices of American cheese, lettuce, tomato, spread, and onions.
A number of fans hilariously pointed out that Giamatti eating at In-N-Out while wearing a tuxedo was reminiscent of the scene from his 2004 film Sideways, where his character Miles wears a suit and drinks an expensive wine while dining at a burger joint.
Giamatti also hilariously touched on his viral fast food moment while accepting the best actor award at the Critics Choice Awards.
‘Wow, guys. I didn’t think my week could get any better than going viral for eating a cheeseburger. Serious, guys, I need that endorsement. So, let’s all just pray for me.’
After the awards show, he joked with reporters that he would be going to California’s favorite fast food chain again, but ‘staying in the car’ this time.
