Tensions are set to come to a head on Monday’s Big Brother as the housemates reach breaking point during this week’s shopping task.
The house has been turned into an ant kingdom and split into two colonies, with the housemates forced to dress up as ants.
The groups will compete in three challenges and the colony that wins the most challenges will be in control of the shopping budget.
The blue team is made up of Paul, Jenkin, Jordan, Trish, Noky, Olivia and Kerry, and the orange team is made up of Henry, Matty, Tom, Dylan, Hallie, Chanelle and Yinrun.
Each team must elect a ‘Queen Ant’ – both Noky and Chanelle assume this role and take a seat on their throne.

Noky says, ‘Queens work together Chanelle.’
Chanelle responds, ‘I don’t, not today.’
Noky says, ‘If that’s how it’s gonna be…’
Later in the day, tensions were high as some of the housemates discussed how seriously they should follow the rules.
Paul shouted: ‘I live in a real world, I don’t live in a f***ing ant world. At the end of this, we are all going to be eating the same food and that fridge when this task is over and we aren’t dressed up.’
Noky replied: ‘None of us know what Big Brother can actually pick as a legitimate rule, so it is best to just do everything as per the instructions and then we’ll see what counts and what doesn’t, and that includes guarding the eggs.’
Paul quipped: ‘I’m just not happy about us all being so serious over it, we are dressed as ants.’
Olivia added: ‘Yeah but Paul, no offence dude you were in a foul mood this morning.’
Becoming increasingly angry, Paul said: ‘If you want to start, start.’
‘I’m not starting, I’m just saying you were in a foul mood refusing to out your gloves on,’ Olivia responded.
Paul raged: ‘F***ing being serious again, everyones being serious, we are dressed up as ants and you are all arguing over stupid petty things.’
Noky quipped: ‘No but you are being serious too.’
Paul: ‘I’m being serious now because you are F***ing treating me like I’m some k***head. Do you think I’m a d***head. Any need for that? Seriously.

Later, referencing his disagreement with Noky and Olivia, Paul says to Tom and Jenkin: ‘I’ll be honest, I’m usually quite a good judge of character and I usually know what people are like when I first meet them, I do.
‘And this is the thing, you know when Olivia came in and then she sat there with Noky on the floor taking the piss out of me and I thought, I just looked at her and thought, are you f***ing for real, like seriously?
‘Like is this really, like that to me questions… if they’re genuine or not… it makes me question them as a person…’
It comes after Big Brother viewers were astounded during Sunday’s episode as Dylan and Trish fell out over food.
Trish was seen making herself a sandwich in the kitchen while Dylan cooked himself and some other housemates some chicken.
But Trish was left unimpressed as she was under the impression Dylan had forbidden her from having any chicken as she had already started making herself something to eat.
Questioning Trish, an irritated Dylan asked: ‘Have I done something else wrong?’, to which Trish spat back: ‘Yeah you did.’
After Trish explained she was annoyed Dylan had told her she could not ask for other items of food after she decided to make a sandwich, Dylan hit back: ‘I asked you if you wanted something to eat, that’s all I said.’
When Trish insisted he hadn’t asked her if she wanted anything, Dylan doubled down: ‘I said, ‘What are you doing? Because I’m making food’, do you know what I mean?
‘I’m making food so I need to know now.
Trish responded: ‘I said, ‘I’m making a sandwich’, and you said, ‘If you’re going to eat that you’re not going to make me anything’.’
Worked up, Dylan insisted: ‘No I didn’t say that! I said, ‘I’m making food’.’

Battle: Big Brother viewers were astounded during Sunday’s episode as Dylan and Trish fell out over food
Attempting to get her fellow housemates to back her up, Trish asked the other show contestants: ‘Sorry, did anyone else hear that or did I just imagine that?’
Jenkin told Dylan: ‘You did say that if she’s making a sandwich, you’re not going to put chicken in for her.’
Dylan said: ‘No, I said I wouldn’t bother putting chicken in for you, I didn’t say I wasn’t going to put chicken in for you,’ which left Trish looking baffled and shrugging her shoulders.
‘I said if you want chicken you can have chicken,’ continued Dylan. ‘I didn’t mean it as in if you make a sandwich, I’m not cooking for you.’
An exasperated Trish said: ‘I don’t know why you’re shouting at me,’ to which Dylan told her: ‘You misunderstood what I said, that’s why.’
But Trish insisted: ‘No, no, no. I didn’t misunderstand what you said, I heard you properly.’
The moment left viewers with plenty of opinions on the matter, with show fans taking to Twitter to express their views.
Someone wrote: ‘Dylan, Trish, why are we shouting about chicken at our big ages.’
While another person shared: ‘I like Trish, but she made an argument out of nothing. Dylan did nothing wrong.’

Hangry? Trish was left unimpressed as she was under the impression Dylan had forbidden her from having any chicken as she had already started making herself something to eat
Another viewer posted: ‘Trish is clearly hangry cos there was no need to go off on Dylan over that, if she still wanted chicken she coulda said, she has a voice no?’
Siding with Trish, one other person wrote: ‘Tbf to Trish, Dylan did say he won’t put chicken in but it wasn’t that deep tho at all to amount to an argument.’
‘Dylan telling Trish he won’t make her chicken if she has a sandwich as if Chanelle isn’t sat beside her eating a sandwich,’ laughed someone else.
While another viewer posted: ‘Dylan 100% said Trish couldn’t have chicken if she was cooking for herself.’
Big Brother continues on Monday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
