Paris Jackson has found her voice after overcoming a secret heroin addiction and being embroiled in a legal war with her late father Michael’s lawyers.
The model and musician has now well and truly made a name for herself after years of struggling through heartbreak and living in the King of Pop’s shadow.
At just 27 Paris sits front row at the globe’s most prestigious shows from and is a regular guest at everything from the Oscars to the Cannes Film Festival.
Most recently as she spreads her wings, Michale’s middle child Paris is said to have to have contacted one of his alleged victims of his sexual abuse for the first time to express her ’empathy’.
She previously said she didn’t believe that her ‘kind-hearted’ father could have sexually abused anyone, and denounced those suggestions as ‘lies.
The King of Pop’s career was clouded by rumours of peadophilia from the 1990s onward, but after the allegations were taken to court, he was acquitted in 2005. He died in 2009 at the age of 50 of a cardiac arrest he suffered after having Propofol administered as a sleep aid.

Paris, alongside brothers Bigi, 23, and Prince, 28, were raised solely by their father and met her mother, nurse Debbie Rowe, for the first time in 2011, two years after Jackson’s death.
Earlier this year she revealed how she had once battled a heroin addiction in a new social media post, celebrating five years of sobriety from drugs and alcohol.
Paris candidly admitted to an addiction with alcohol as well as the opioid drug while marking her sobriety with an empowering Instagram post.
She described all her accomplishments in a moving video that included footage of her old partying ways and numerous sobriety coins.
‘hi, i’m pk and i’m an alcoholic and a heroin addict,’ she wrote.
‘today marks 5 years clean & sober from all drugs and alcohol. to say that i’m thankful would be a poor euphemism. gratitude hardly scratches the surface. it’s because i’m sober that i get to smile today.
‘i get to make music. i get to experience the joy of loving my dogs and cat. i get to feel heartbreak in all it’s glory. i get to grieve. i get to laugh. i get to dance. i get to trust. i feel the sun on my skin and it’s warm. i’ve found that life keeps happening regardless of whether i’m sober or not, but today i get to show up for it.
‘here’s a little snapshot of what has been possible because of my sobriety, and my god i can’t believe i almost missed it all.’
Jackson has previously discussed her problems with drug abuse and depression, telling Rolling Stone in 2017 that several of her tattoos conceal both track marks from drug use and self-harm scars.

She revealed she had attempted suicide ‘multiple times’ and then went on to study at a therapeutic school in Utah, which she said was ‘great’ for her.
‘I’m a completely different person,’ she said. ‘I was crazy. I was actually crazy. I was going through a lot of, like, teen angst. And I was also dealing with my depression and my anxiety without any help,’ she added.
The Rolling Stone article noted at the time she was ‘sober and happier than she’s ever been’ and only caved into menthol cigarettes.
She also denied reports of she returned to rehab in 2018 after singer Demi Lovato was hospitalized for a drug overdose.
‘ummm no?? I haven’t gone to a clinic.. someone doesn’t have to almost die for me to know to be healthy, I’ve already had friends OD and die. that’s enough for me,’ she tweeted.
In 2019 she also weighed in on a report alleging she had gone into a treatment facility to address her emotional health, stating ‘the media is exaggerating per usual.’
‘Yes i’ve taken a break from work and social media and my phone because it can be too much sometimes, and everyone deserves a break, but i am happy and healthy and feeling better than ever!’ she said.

But estate executors said that the later singer’s daughter had received around $65 million in proceeds from the estate in the 16 years since his death.
The disclosure came via an October 9 motion in which executors John Branca and John McClain answered back to Paris questioning bonuses and ‘premium’ payouts the estate made in 2018.
‘Few have benefited more from the Executors’ business judgment than [Paris] herself, who has received roughly $65 million from the Estate in benefits,’ attorneys for Branca and McClain said in the motion reviewed by People.
The executor said that their business savvy allowed Paris to reap major financial windfalls that would not have been possible otherwise.
‘She would have never received that had the executors followed a typical playbook for an Estate like this one in July 2009,’ the executors said.
Daily Mail has reached out to reps for Paris and the executors for further comment on the story.
In their motion, the executors said that they were able to take a sad song and make it better when it came to Jackson’s brand and business in the near two decades they have been running the show.
They incorporated words of praise a judge previously gave them for their business savviness in Sheppard in the estate from a debt-ridden disaster to ‘a powerhouse and a force in the music business today.’
Attorneys for Branca and McClain said in the motion that ‘the Executors’ business judgment has taken an estate that “started out as nothing but debt and substantial ongoing obligation” and “turned [it] into a $2 billion estate.”‘
Attorneys for Paris said in the filing in a petition filed this past June that $625,000 in ‘gifts’ and ‘gratuities’ were dispersed to three law firms for what was described as ‘uncaptured time,’ People reported after reviewing court docs.

Paris confirmed the two had broken off their engagement in an August post on X, in which she said the concerning tears seen on July 23 were ‘breakup tears’
Lawyers for Paris said in the filing that the executors made no effort to make sense of ‘why counsel was incapable of recording unbilled time, or why such a failure should not preclude payment.’
Attorneys for Paris in the filing said that two of the firms involved had gotten ‘premium payments’ in breach of the ‘Court’s order allowing only partial payment of attorneys’ fees until Court approval is obtained.

She was jubilant when she announced her engagement to Long in December 6 of last year.
‘Doing life with you these last years has been an indescribable whirlwind,’ the songstress captioned a photo of herself and Long staring into each other’s eyes lovingly at the time. ‘I couldn’t dream of anyone more perfect for me to do it all with. Thank you for letting me be yours. I love you.’
Another photo showed Long taking a knee as he popped the question on the balcony of an ornate theater lobby.
