Paris Hilton recently revealed the meaning behind her daughter’s middle name and the significance of her birth date.
The media personality, 43, opened up about her and husband Carter Reum’s five-month-old baby girl — who she finally introduced to the world in first snaps this past weekend.
On a ‘very special’ episode of her iHeartRadio podcast I Am Paris released on Sunday, she said their daughter was born on 11/11 last year — just shy of one year after they welcomed their first child, 15-month-old son Phoenix.
The Simple Life star began by mentioning how just days earlier, she had unveiled her daughter’s face for the first time in adorable family photos, introducing her by her full name — London Marilyn Hilton-Reum.
She then explained the special meaning behind the name they picked for her.

On a ‘very special’ episode of her iHeartRadio podcast I Am Paris released on Sunday, she said their daughter was born on 11/11 last year. As for London’s middle name Marilyn, she said she was inspired by her grandmother as well as a certain famous Hollywood icon
‘I chose London as her name because it’s one of my favorite cities in the world,’ she began.
‘And ever since I was a little girl, I just always dreamed of having a little daughter named London. I think it also sounds so cute together, Paris and London, and it’s just such a beautiful and unique name,’ she shared.
As for London’s middle name Marilyn, she said she was inspired by her grandmother as well as a certain famous Hollywood icon.
The reality TV personality also noted that her son Phoenix was also named after her grandfather as well.
‘I wanted to honor my grandmother, Marilyn. I think it’s such a beautiful name,’ she explained. ‘And Phoenix, his middle name is Barron, which is my grandfather’s name.’
She continued: ‘It was just an honor of both of them, and I love them so much.
‘I love Marilyn Monroe as well,’ the entrepreneur added.
During her podcast episode, Hilton also explained the significance of her daughter’s double number birthday and why it is ‘so special’ to her.

She gushed over London’s ‘beautiful and unique’ name. ‘Ever since I was a little girl, I just always dreamed of having a little daughter named London,’ she said before adding that she thought that their names ‘sound so good together’
Even though London is only five months old, Hilton said she sees ‘early glimpses’ of her personality, adding that she reminds her of her sister Nicky [Hilton]
‘Obviously, as you all know, 11/11 is such an important date to me, [an] important time,’ she said.
‘Carter and I were married on 11/11. My media company is named 11:11 Media. I make a wish every single day at 11:11. So for my daughter to be born on that date was just magical and so special.’
‘So perfect birthday for my little princess.’
Even though London is only five months old, the DJ said she sees ‘early glimpses’ of her personality, adding that she resembles her sister Nicky [Hilton].
‘I can already tell that she is very serious and so sweet,’ she said. ‘She reminds me so much of my sister Nicky.’
She noted that they look alike too.
‘When I look at my baby pictures, Phoenix is my twin and then little London looks like Nikki.’
In January 2023, Hilton and Reum welcomed Phoenix via surrogate. Less than a year later, London was born via surrogate in November 2023.

Just last week, Hilton shared the first family photo including her baby girl.
She took to Instagram to share the cute pictures and gushed about her ‘angel babies’ in her caption while promoting her new collaborative song with Sia.
‘Introducing London Marilyn Hilton-Reum,’ she began. ‘I’ve dreamed of having a daughter named London for as long as I can remember. I’m so grateful she is here. I truly cherish every moment I spend with her.
‘Together with Phoenix, my angel babies have shown me a love that I never even knew could run so deep before I became their mother,’ she continued.
‘My incredible journey through motherhood has inspired a new, deeply personal song with my dear friend Sia called “Fame Won’t Love You.”
